Suga was reported to be under police investigation following an incident involving drunk driving on an electric scooter. Reports indicate that he was found alone and had fallen.

First of all I'm happy that Suga is okay and no one else was hurt. He now knows he made a mistake and probably feels horrible about what happened, people don't need to make it worse even though I'm sure many will try. If you're a fan show a lot of love and support to him because the negative press is going to be massive. He needs to know we appreciate his apology and want only the best for him. The best thing anyone can do if they've been drinking is to have someone who hasn't been drinking to drive you home, even if you live close or you don't think you're intoxicated.

A representative from the Military Manpower Administration explained to Ilgan Sports, "Disciplinary actions are only taken for work-related infractions during official service hours. Incidents outside of work are subject to general criminal law."
This incident will not affect Suga's ongoing duties as a social service agent, as the incident occurred outside of official working hours

I'd rather not have him ride a bike in the streets after watching a docu on how many quick service delivery guys get injured or worse in Korean traffic. But, of course, it's not my call.

THIS is why I stan this group, they always take responsibility for their actions. Even when it is painful or embarrassing they step forward on their own and take full responsibility. Please, anyone, name a single other famous person or group who shows this kind of integrity, personal responsibility and personal honour. Hmm, I don’t live in Korea but I never knew drunk driving a scooter was a thing. Because it was a scooter, and therefore not risking public safety, I don’t feel as though it’s a big deal. But since he’s a public figure, I think apologizing was the right thing to do. It’s actually kinda funny. He fell over in front of his house 😂
I mean you can still injure yourself or someone else on a motorized scooter, but ya in my opinion more damage can definitely be done with a car.
True, he could’ve hurt himself or someone else. But most likely it wouldn’t be serious. I think any person celebrity or not that drinks and drives a vehicle (car, motorcycle, etc.) is irresponsible. This seems more like negligence to me. I believe he thought he was doing an okay thing.

Most of us who makes a mistake just deal with it in private but those in the public eye have to deal with mistakes in front of millions of people. That's worse than losing a license. I appreciate the fact that Suga has taken responsibility but as a fan of Suga, he did not need to apologize to me. I'm thankful he is not injured nor is anyone else. It must be so hard to deal with this in the public eye.

Was surprised to hear this but Suga is only human like us all, he's made a mistake which hes owned and he will learn from it. We know it's not Suga's intentional doing, rather he just thought he would be fine since it was a short distance, But surely this was dangerous. Thank god Nobody was hurt. I am glad that his is safe and he recognized his mistake n apologized. It takes a great strength to accept n take responsibility of self mistake. I am so glad he is fine 😢.

I am extremely saddened by this. We all know that the members drink alcohol. As an older ARMY, my grandma heart wishes they wouldn't; but they are adults and have the right to indulge as they choose.
My concern for Yoongi has been that he self medicates to deal with mental health issues. Now, it is that this will negatively affect his well being/self esteem. Naturally haters will use this to attack; he needs to feel how much he is loved. The most important thing is that he learned from this and does better going forward.

There is not. Military released statement some time after his apologies. Something in line of that it was his free time and military don't punish people for things they doing in free time.

Lol, I don't know why I find this hilarious yet serious at the same time. Drinking with the boys on a weekend, driving a scooter and ending up falling down in front of your gate😂😂😂 that's sounds like what boys do on weekends then waking up in front of your lawn on Monday to go to work. It happens.
On a serious side though, for your precious safety and for the safety of others no drinking and driving. Even if it's a scooter. There's nothing wrong in drinking especially on night outs and especially being asian😊 but please don't touch any vehicle. This time it wasn't a motorbike, it was a scooter. Not exactly the same thing and there was no accident, he just fell while getting off it at his house. Also his motorbike accident was not his fault, he was literally hit by a car.

Thanks for the update, this is sad news however S. Korea is such a drinking nation that I'm not surprised. So glad he's fine, and that he takes responsibility for his actions. Thank God no one else was affected. It's a great reminder that we all should be careful. As to the memes, Army is probably relieving stress about the incident. After all it could have been worse, and I think in this case maybe sending a message to our Yoongi that we forgive and won't go overboard about something that only affected himself. This incident will be a cautionary tale for the rest of the members too.
