Pastor Rogers was a skilled man with the scriptures ,I enjoy watching these reruns of summons on You Tube of him and the late Dr.J. Vernon McGee they real knew their jobs and toke it seriously as Ministers of the scriptures for Jesus Christ/ Yahshua the Anointed Savior.

Do we all, "sometimes", compromise our walk with Jesus because we want acceptance from our peers. How can we turn away from His Face, even for an instant, for our own comfort when He suffered so much to save us from His Father's wrath to redeem us and make us innocent before our God? This is not a rhetorical question: We must get on our knees and answer it in sorrowful repentance so that we, the Bride of Christ, without spot or wrinkle, can please our Saviour Jesus, the Son of GOD. 🌻❤🌻

A statement made has really confused me- I am struggling in my life to the degree that I have been clinging to John 3:16. Is faith not trusting in the the Word of God that he so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that any who BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life? Is believing not faith, or at least the basis for it? At 67 my life has crumbled & I know my faith is weak but is BELIEVING not my hope? Please pray for me because I'll never stop seeking
If you really do believe in the Son of God the Lord Jesus Christ then you must have faith in Him and you trust the Word of God and His promise. In order to believe you must accept or receive. In John 3:16 you must accept not just only believe the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and into your life as your Lord and personal savior and He died for you to saved you from all your sins through His blood that was shed. As you accept and believe by faith the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life you must also ask for forgiveness to Him for all the sins you have committed against Him. For everyone's had sinned against God and fall short of the glory of God and therefore if not for what Jesus did on the cross of calvary we are all dead in our transgressions. To receive the gift you must accept first, its the same thing with Jesus for He is the gift of God for all of us.
