You can get the tips to just the way you want with a "ruby polishing stone" (they come in sets of different shapes for less than £20) and some decent magnification. As a bonus, those ruby rods will even smooth out chips in glass and ceramic.
ah cheers for that.. ill have a look
Great video! just ordered a set.
Hope you think they are as good as i think they are.. i've bought two sets since lol
I have the basic set of this make but I never knew this set was available...thanks for the info vid....jim

Thanks for the video. The buy link is not working anymore. Can you please relink?
Just orderd them today, tenner on amazon, yeah they look good, tweezers originally designed for work on computers are good.
i was blown away by them, the pointed ones are lethal though, one fell off the bench into my thigh.. it drew blood too lol
@@MOS6510Models that happened to me with some other pointy tweezers, well no wonder, for they are pointy :D

is it just me or is airfix really bad? i remember assembling a lancaster bomber from them when i was younger and i thought i was doing it wrong, but now that i look back at it the parts are warped to fuck and dont fit together at all, even with me 5 years of modelling experience now i dont i would be able to do much about it
i dunno matey.. unless i can see it i cant help
I use these ones as well. They are really cheap on ebay
im extremely pleased with them. thanks for commenting
Does anybody know where a similar type of canvas roll can be purchased as a separate item.I have some good quality tweezers that are lacking suitable storage.
for the price it might be worth just buying the set and replacing the tweezers with what you like already..
Lol I found them on Ali Express, the 10 pcs variant + Bag, only US $7.80 and free shipping, this is such a bargain! They were advertised for plucking blackheads with awful graphic examples (yuck!) But hey, who cares, they are ultra cheap and perfect for scale modelling, that's what counts.
Jetto Scranda great find.. my issue is with ALX is its on the slow boat from China.. and sometimes you have to pay the import tax on the item when it arrives.. been caught a few times with that!! I’d rather pay more and have them next day.. it will all change soon when shipment rates come into force next year as China won’t get that discount
@@MOS6510Models Ohh,... well on such a low value, i won't have to pay any customs, thank goodness. Slow shipping indeed. Also I've noticed upon my order completition and free shipping contitions, it said the item is guaranteed to arrive by 10/05 or I get a refund. Now, this is weird, not sure what it means, 5th of October, can this be possible?! lol, I hope not.
@@MOS6510Models Also thanks for suggesting this item! I was about to buy the black tamiya tweezers, 1 piece costs as much as the whole 10 pack by Pixnor.
Jetto Scranda yes I was being in general with ALX I think the limit is 10£ for me then you have to pay import tax then a fee to the post office.
I went looking for tamiya ones too lol.. and these were shown on amazon so for the money I tough it was worth the punt!!
I’m glad this guide helped.. if you could share it to social media or forums that would really help the channel. Thank you for watching and commenting
they aren't anti magnetic
Ok
