Searching for good rather than bad solution with polynomials, or periodic functions emphasize the "analog," solution to the problem, without considering entanglement. Emphasis on Fourier transforms would decipher the period ignoring the entanglement factor. Otherwise, the algorithms appeared to provide some indication of what quantum computing may accomplish.
