- Here the McKameys perform their signature classic, "Do You Know How It Feels?", from their 1992 live album, "With Feeling, Live." This song was written by Gary Duty and travelled to #1 in February, March & April 1993 on the Singing News Top 80 Charts.

I was born in ‘87, and growing up, about this same time of this recording, I heard the McKameys close to every day. Peg McKamey was as big as Elvis to me, and a very large part of why music is such a huge part of my life now.

The McKameys don't only have talent, they are anointed and that makes a big difference.
From age 20-30 I rebelled very heavily. But after many years of praying from my Dad I was healed. My father would play this song when I was stoned out of my mind. God truly did deliver me. There's no peace like His peace. This song always makes me smile thinking of how far I came along.

Nervotica, acceptance, boredom, not everyone has a cookie cutter life from grade school, college. I was given every opportunity with school from my parents but this wasn't their fault but mine. No excuse to give but it's all washed under the blood of Jesus.

peg sings tenor mostly for those who do not know. she is a beautiful woman of God. you can tell because the love of God just radiates from her when she sings. just like my papaw couldn't sing or preach without shouting. rip papaw Haskel. miss you. one of his favorite songs.

These ladies live what they sing. I saw them in concert the Holy Spirit always started moving from the beginning. They were Holy Ghost filled.

My father went to seminary when I was a kid, we would drive to school in the morning and this song was hot on the Christian radio station we listened to in those days, I would sing my heart out to this song as early as second grade. I came to just a few moments ago, and the Lord put these lyrics on my heart. To find this treasure on UA-cam and enjoy this song so many years later is a great JOY!

I have been blessed to have known the Mckameys and their group. I was also raised up in them and they are an inspiration. Peg worshipped as she sang and that is the difference. I had the pleasure of knowing Jeff their piano player too. Memories.

I worked at a Coal mine with one of their cousins and was out of church .It was a drought and God sent rsin over me on that tipple and the cloud left the way it came and he seen it and was amazed at God and I was shouting lol
