Haven't had a bad cough since I stopped burning my herbs. Once you get used to a vape you won't go back, it tastes better, doesn't make you try to cough your liver up every hit, makes your herb last longer and you get just as stoned. Oh and you can add the vaped flower to edibles, not something you can do when you've set fire to it.
@@willedwards3956 I have a Mighty, a bit pricey but I have used it daily for five years and it hasn't given me a seconds trouble. And it works very well. I find that the leftover herb from four full loads is enough to get me VERY happy indeed, three is enough to really feel a lot better. There are a lot of good dry flower vapes around but the S&B Mighty is pretty much the best. Hope this helps, all my best wishes.
@@willedwards3956 I have a Storz and Bickel Mighty, one of the older ones. Had it for five years, use it daily and it's not let me down once. And yes, save your vaped herb, I find that the remains of four fills is more than enough to get me properly toasted.
Allow me to finish her thought. Vaping also decarbs your flower. Great for edibles. If she thinks smoking is more potent, she apparently hasnt hit a ball vape
Vaporizers are a definite progress but more work is necessary, for example the size of droplets and consumption method + ritual. The Sublimator of Enrico Bouchard claimed to addres the 1st aspect with post-release re-atomization but his operations were interrupted abruptly after an arrest coming back from the Spannabis expo in Europe. Keep in mind the bigot onusian FCTC/COP 6 report is turning 10 years old in December and nothing health-wise other than more prohibition has been done.
How good is the high from dry herb vaping? Is it as good as regular smoking? And is it a better than regular vaping with a traditional vape cartridge? Thanks
Good questions! The high can be even better since you're able to actually activate certain terps vs burning them. A much more flavorful bud and experience :) Since you're slowly cooking vs torching the herb, we believe it's much better because there are fewer carcinogens, it's less harsh on your throat, and it overall is a more personal and customizable toke since you can control the temperature. Vapes are CONCENTRATED so the herb vape wont be as intense as let's say a vape cart.
Smoking actually sacrifices nearly half the noble molecules to heat the rest. Also, vapes and vaporizers are significantly different, the later not being based on concentrates it's not also concentrating potential contaminants... Besides, it's worth having a 100 X microscope with flowers as the beauty of dame Nature is impossible to counterfeit: the more blurred it seems the less love/respect you can expect and that's a hint enough because there's no good reason for tumbled weed.
Basically any pocket vaporizer. Vaped weed doesn´t have that obvious odour of joint smoke, so those pocket vapes are the most unsuspicious method to consume THC in public available besides edibles. Just search for "pocket dry herb vape test" or something like that and you´ll easily come across enough stuff giving you the knowledge to pick out the one vaporizer that fits your needs best. Basically any portable device NOT from Storz&Bickel is stealthy enough. Advice: get one with a capsule system, the capsules facilitate taking a hit on the road immensely. Fill up a few capsules at home and just drop it into the vape whenever you want. Keeps the heating chamber clean.
@@chrisf.685 thank you. I got the tinymight2 because the heat chamber is separate so it only heats when inhaling. That way I can microdose and not get baked in under 5 minutes. That’s great sometimes but sometimes I just want a small buzz. Especially in public or in a meeting 😂😂
@RESTARTCBD thank you for this video, It is hard to find good videos about dry herb vaping. I need some more insights. Want to start use dry herb vaporizer for CBD herb. What I know (maybe it is not fully true) is that dry herb vape of CBD herb is far healthier than smoking (whether it is weed, CBD, cigarettes etc). Also it is healthier than vaping CBD cartridges. Only thing to even get it more safer, is good , not cheap vaporizer, premium CBD flower ( no pesticides, no metals) I am not smoker, did it on weekends during high school and sometimes during college. And I am planning to vape it daily (or few days per week) like 1-2 session. So I think that can not make some serious health issues and lung issues .. What do you think ? :)
If you're not from the smoker back ground there's sub-libfual tincture as a relatively accomodating alternative in terms of filtration organs and speed of effects. Once into smoking/vaporizing though it's no longer satisfying because inhalation is an important element of that habit part since it becomes a ritualistic life style.
I couldn't stand mine and gave it away as the "pot-pourri" it was claimed to be on the box: my lungs felt totally depressing, every new toke involved an exhausting effort defeating the whole purchase, no to mention promiscuity by design since at least 2008 as i recall: your lungs path is being shared with that of electronics! Just take a peek inside....
I just got a dry herb vaporizer. I'm also very new to this. What temp do you recommend?? It's a potable youcan Hit. I've done a few seshes and haven't seen anything...smoke, vapor...when I exhale. Is this normal?
Welcome to the herb vape fam! It's very normal to not see large puffs of smoke coming from the vape since you're heating the herb at a significantly lower temperature. The temp you choose will vary greatly on what cannabinoids you're wanting to activate and how much flavor you want to preserve from the terpene profile! I recommend just google searching "best temp to smoke THC, CBD, etc" on and test out a few in those ranges to see what you like!
Long time no talk Shayda! This is interesting. Lately I have been hearing huberman talk about the negative health effects of vaping cannabis but I don’t know if he knows about dry herb vaping or if he’s just referring to vape pens. Interesting.
He is referring to vape pens with thc. Some of them indeed contain carcinogens, but I don’t think there is a study that contemplates vaping on a pax so it is dubious. I think vaping with a pax is much smoother and better for your lungs long term.
to each their own! smoking in general isn't considered healthy but many people find that the instant relief is exactly what they need and is a much better alternative to traditional methods like a bong or pipe due to lower temps and fewer carcinogens!
@@RESTARTCBD that's basically what I said. It's better than smoking. And ofc to each their own, I didn't say don't do it. All I'm saying is one should consider dry herb vaping is not without risks before starting with it.
I bought a Venty vaporizer from Storz and Bickel about 6 months ago. Before that, I used to smoke a couple of joints before going to bed. For some reason, I cough a lot more now with the vaper and have lots of mucus in the bronchi. I just use the vaper once a day, before going to sleep and not even always vape weed. I usually vape cbd flower, or valeriana, or lavanda. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?? I'M QUITE WORRIED BECAUSE MY LUNGS FEEL A LOT WORSE NOW THAN WHEN I SMOKED.
It could be much worse than you suspect, the substance ain't everything, but it does affect temperature which in turn determines droplets size at the alveolar/bloodstream barrier in the lungs... Consumption method could even cause constant irritation of the arteries leading to severe lesions, etc. Good luck finding comprehensive professional assistance willing to help other than just promote abstainance!
Probably setting too high temp, esp because you're using it once a day it could irritate. Also maybe not use different herbs other than weed, unless the vape specifically allows them.
Flag me if you ever find the ultimate device. So far i'd bet on induction heat applied to SiC Foam, or zirconia beads for a substitute, like in the expensive Tempest by Mad Scientist - when his price-tag drops down, dramatically...
Hey! that's awesome, it'll vary greatly on what price point you're trying to stay under. We love the Storz and Bickel line (german made) and their warranty is fantastic but they are more pricey. I'd say the next best bet at a lower price and compact would either by the PAX mini or the Rokin Outrider!
I know fhis was 5 months ago, but to clarify. The lithium battery is completely separate from the heating chamber. There is just copper wires that run from the battery to the heating element. Cheap dry her vapes will have plastic heating chambers or plastic mouth pieces that can off gas from the heat. I purchased an Arizer brand vape which has an all glass and ceramic heating chamber and mouth piece. Completey safe and healthy to vape your herbs from. I'd recommend even the cheaper arizer vapes.

Try 350 thru to 380. I’ve had mine for a couple of months and despite smoking a lot over many decades would be crippled by coughing from a bag from the Volcano. I got enamoured by thick clouds so was starting at 380 and it was killing me. Too many compounds at once and things that you don’t get when burning that seem to irritate a lot. Thinner vapor isn’t as satisfying looking but just as effective in the long run.
Also, took me a while to get over the “must squeeze every drop oh goodness out of every bowl” mindset. I bought a bunch of empty gel capsules and load em with my ABV so anything I didn’t get first go I’ll get in the end.
