which aquarium filter is best sponge or power

See I'm a experienced aquarist and been in the hobby for 8 years in all of my 20 gallon what I do is I keep the power filter horizontally without the air pipe connected to it and a xy2821 sponge filter so it provides oxygen . The power filter gives good flow and will suck up all the dirt and the xy2128 sponge filter gives good arriation . I'm not lost any fish in my 20 gallons believe it or not . I've kept rams , electric blue lobsters , platinum halfbeaks , Cory's and a lots more and none of them died .

Mera ek 12 liter fish bowl hai. Mai usme 4 goldfishes rakhna chahata hu. Mere pass xinyou xy-2835 sponge filter hai. Main agar filter Ko air pump ke saath use Karu to kinta din bad bad wo filter clean karna hoga agar mere pass 4 goldfishes ho to? Or kinte din baad baad water change karna parega? Sponge filter Ko achche se Kam karne k Liya minimum kitna watt ka air pump use karna parega? Please tell me..

Bro its not sponge filter its an oxygen pump. Filtration will not happen on tht. Sponge is helpful as a medium for benificial bacterial groth not as a filtration media
