It's one thing to have a couple of problems with your boat, but this guy had a lemon, but what makes it worse is that Bass Cat won't return his calls and make it right. If that's how they feel, no thanks.
There is a back story to that video. He documented the buying of it on Bass Boat Central. That guy lives in Canada and rather than buy the boat from a Canadian dealer he bought it from a U.S. dealer and shipped it to Canada. When he had problems he expected the local dealer to put his boat ahead of all other customers. Obviously they can’t put his boat in front of other boat owners waiting on repairs. If he had bought it there than of course they would have fixed it right away. If you buy a new truck and it breaks down Ford does not parachute in a team to fix your truck. You have to get it to a dealer, preferably the one you bought it from. Also due to COVID everything was delayed as Canada shut the border so parts couldn’t get thru to him. If you put yourself in the position he did you either got to wait or fix it yourself. Everything he complained about is an easy fix. He is right he should not have had the problems he had but I would say he was damn unlucky, Bass Cat has a great reputation which is why they have so many repeat customers. If you read the comments they offered him a new boat and he won’t take it. I don’t own a Bass Cat but hope too in a couple years and will be a Lynx or Cougar.

Lol Ranger is owned by Bass Pro Shop. Reports of declining quality control since the buyout is all over the internet. Ranger isn't even in the top 3 brands anymore.
