Some of you don't understand, what it's like when there is no earpiece!
All of you will just hear the crowd scream, and not the instruments that is playing.
It was a shaky performance from the moment she started singing.
Well... Don't want to be rude but in that case it was really stupid of her to take the earpiece out of her ear. Still - she had another one in. And it was for a very brief time.
***** maybe it was out of sync with the music, it happens I performed live before and sometimes it gets too delayed and it confuses the F out of you, probably that was the reason to take one of the ear pieces off ;)

@@sdtpokemongo5964 I'm not a specialist but it allows them to hear themselves singing. It helps being on key and on tempo as they can also choose to hear whatever instrument they want at the volume they want.
It's crucial on stage as the sound takes time to travel, from the speakers to the singer's ears. You can get away with it and managed to sing on pitch but being on tempo is trickier. Rita's vocals were noticeably late and more often out of key than usual.

You can notice there is a problem with her monitor (earpiece) right when the music starts, she is having trouble with it throughout her performance. It's unfortunate and much more of a problem in this kind of choreographed performance where a technician can't runt interrupt and solve the problem.
Not a great performance with she failed with grace, hard not to panic in this kind of situation haha =)
