I live in Oakton and its pretty good. Oakton doesn't have any events so when I go to Vienna to do all the stuff.

Thank you for commenting! I love Oakton, so convenient to everything but, not quite as congested as other areas.

I would love to find something like my old LOFT in HUBcity Lofts in MS but with a 2 car garage for under 400k like 300 or 350 so if u see something 30 mins from sterling hit me up lol.

Haha I will! I wish that was an option here, although if it was so many buyers would be after it that the price would bid up. We need inventory so badly!

@@KaiserDragonTVnot in every case! Lots of first time homebuyers are buying right now, buying your first house is always the hardest. Certainly isn’t for everyone though and there’s nothing wrong with renting. Pros and cons like everything else.😀

@livinginnorthernva I been looking at the VA Market first time or vets like me with 6% still not willing when owning cost 1.5k a month more than renting and overall cost more monthly Hoa repairs upkeep maintenance when rent comes with none of that plus a gym and pool.. it's sad really I just want a 2 car garage town house about 1k or so square foot but it's not worth 450 500k at all with the cost of owning it ... monthly for same space and garage parking is almost 2k a month less on average it's sad VA market is so insane..

@@KaiserDragonTV I don't disagree, the market is insane in NoVa. I think that's true for a lot of places, the housing shortage is real but, paired with the high cost of living here it's tough. It depends on your long-term plan/wants though. Renting looks cheaper, and it is initially but, long term it's not. You lose out on appreciation and you're still paying a mortgage, it's just someone else's. You're right, there will always be maintenance when owning, HOA dues, taxes, and insurance all fluctuate but, long term owning builds wealth. Renting is convenient and flexible. I also think unless someone is going to be here for at least 3 years it doesn't make sense to buy. If they aren't against becoming a landlord and plan to move sooner that's a different story but, either way it should be a long term plan.
