looks great, love that truck, my dad said it's one of the best Ford trucks ever made, back when Ford used superior vendor parts and good quality control.
Saw you and your rig yesterday packing out of the summit pullout in Turny. Rig is looking real slick my man! Especially with a sled in the back and the gobs of snow on the ground at the summit this weekend ;). Must have been a pretty rad day riding! But anyway, really love what you got going on Timmy! Huge inspiration for that AK truck house life. Currently got an older 89 f250 7.3 idi diesel truck with a 5 speed down here in Homer that i’m building out to live in full time and chase down trouble from here to the states. Maybe one of these days i’ll bump into ya! But until then, keep on keepin on! Peace✌️
Right on man, yup had to winch out of the parking lot, crazy stuck lol, it was all-time snow though! Hope to see ya on the road sometime, say hi if you ever see me out there!
@@TruckHouseLife hahaha serious gratitude to winches, got one on my truck and I could never go back. But yeah, it was a freakin sink hole in there! I was driving right by you and just about got stuck in the middle of the exit in my suv gawking at your truck. Riders in front of you seemed really antsy to get out so I just kept my momentum going to not block them, otherwise i would of just stopped and said hi. I’ll get ya next time!
@@TruckHouseLife Enjoy the freshies from today’s storm! Turny is gonna be DEEEEP! Got buried down here in Homer too. The Caribou Hills are gonna be a delight, and a whole lot less crowded😏🤫
Looks great. Mine did too.....for a while. On my 2003 F150 7700, I installed these and they were awesome for about six months. Then, they started leaking and the plastic started deteriorating badly. I’m about to change them again. No biggie though, as you say they were cheap.
I think I'm gonna order a set. It would make my 4door look better. Go follow my Instagram i litterly build these trucks weekly always doing somthing new lol
Awesome as usual Timmy, very informative lights 👀 cool too😎😎 🇬🇧🏴 where about s are you at the moment?? Is this your home country? Stay safe and well my friend Dave in Cornwall UK 🏄🏻♂️🏄🏻♂️🏄🏻♂️🏄🏻♂️🌊🌊🌊💨☔️🏴🇬🇧
I see you have some extra 2/0 wires on the battery terminal. Have you looked into mechman alternators or autozone platinum agm ? Both of these helped me out alot. I also have some xs power d750 big ass agm batteries you may wanna look into this stuff for some extra power
yup i've got an upgraded alternator, should step it up another level one day though, Hopefully get a better battery system once I make the flatbed mods to the camper for more room.
@@TruckHouseLife WTF man ! at least you're alive and kicking! the wig was a nice touch in your cooking video! You would be a great kayak instructor ! you should have brought your Alaskan woman with you !
Good looking upgrade! I have a question... how do you spend your normal day?? Not sure what constitute “normal day” but your home is on truck bed: where and how you find spot to park, what do you eat, how you spend time when you don’t have particular goal or project or whatever... I’m just curious how Tim spends his normal “uneventful” day 😂
Are they DOT approved? If not you could have issues with state inspection if you have that in your space. I would hang on to the old ones just in case. Great call on halogen though. LED's do nothing but scatter light in peoples face, but are not bright from the driver's perspective. Blue lights are the worst, white and slightly yellow will give you way more visability than blue. 4,000-5,000k are your best bet.
Love the look of the headlights I have similar style but all crome not black but I've been thinking of doing black headlights this is probably all the convincing I need Ps love the camper thinking of building something similar any advice for some one building one?
Hey! Did you remove your tailgate and replaced it with some metal? If you did, they why did you do it? From what I’ve found online they can hold a few hundred lbs and your porch doesn’t seem heavy
Do they have a flat cut off beam, that prevents being blinded in heavy snow or fog? Exact model number please, for your 96 f350 7.3; to order the exact same?
I just found your channel and its incredible! I have a couple questions though, whats your occupation to have freedom to do this?? (How do i get in lol jk) and if you dont do this full time how often do you go out?
Got an off topic question for you Timmy. Since you travel quite a bit and cellphones are pretty unreliable out in the sticks, do you have any 2 way radio gear with you in the truck?
How’d the adjusting go? I had a set I had to point the passenger side one way out for the beam to shoot correctly and looked super weird. Cp addict sells what looks like the same kit for $200 and I’m wondering what the difference is.
Midnight Sun Metalworks, I sketched it up, showed them what I was looking for and they made it come to life (they can weld way better than I can lol). I think I might show it a little more in episode 4 (official tour video)
Living the dream. Wish I was able to just pack up and do something like that. One day
looks great, love that truck, my dad said it's one of the best Ford trucks ever made, back when Ford used superior vendor parts and good quality control.
yup, they are great trucks fo sho!
Just when you thought it would be a super simple and quick install...
Happens to me all the time! Worth the effort, they look great
right?! one of the worst headlight mount designs I've ever seen lol, got through it though
Great job installing the new lights bro💯👏. Looks GREAT , better than stock🔥💯
thanks man! yup I can actually see again too lol
Timmy, they look absolutely fantastic! Well done!
Thanks man!
Yea Timmy, I like the new headlights they look really good. Thanks man
thanks man, yup i'm stoked on them! I can see now!
Good job on install the lights definitely look pretty cool.
thanks man, yup i'm stoked on them
I see the light Timmy, now you got me thinking about replacing my Y2K F250 lights
lol, do it man you won't regret it!

yipes, hope I get lucky!
Thinking about doing something similar to you. I have 02 7.3 with a 8 inch lift. Same truck as you just little newer. Sick lights too!
right on, thanks man
Bro love your truck it is so bad ass looking
thanks man
I put the clear ones on my truck wish I woulda got that style haha yours looks much better
yeah they accidentally sent me clear ones on the 2nd shipment, and they definitely didn't look as good as the black background ones

nice job there a pain to replace but look good when done 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦🛠️
yup!
Lights look good
thanks
I’m checking to see if they sell those for my 93 E150 van....Thanks man.
They should! Good luck!

California winds I think?

Another great video Timmy, by the way how's the knee?
Thanks! Turns out it was my broken back from last year causing the knee problems (had an MRI done)... working on PT now.

I thought this was a live stream
lol just make it!
👍👍
I put 6000k led on my gmc Denali just make sure lumens are not so high it will blind people
lol get em!
I had a set of those, they looked really cool but they yellowed and faded really quick
snap! hope I get lucky
Hey! Did you remove your tailgate and replaced it with some metal? If you did, they why did you do it? From what I’ve found online they can hold a few hundred lbs and your porch doesn’t seem heavy
Yup, tailgate isn't on there, definitely shaved some weight off. Episode 21 answers the weight question;)
What year is that rig? How many miles? That thing is minty
1996 w/ 180k, more info on the truck in episode 4 in my video list (official tour);)
Do they have a flat cut off beam, that prevents being blinded in heavy snow or fog? Exact model number please, for your 96 f350 7.3; to order the exact same?
I got them from autoanything, but they recently sold out, just search for black crystal headlights (Spyder brand) for your 96.
Hlo bro.
what up!
I can’t find them. Web site doesn’t go down to 96
I just found your channel and its incredible! I have a couple questions though, whats your occupation to have freedom to do this?? (How do i get in lol jk) and if you dont do this full time how often do you go out?
I teach driving for a living, and now youtube too lol
Awesome thanks!
Got an off topic question for you Timmy. Since you travel quite a bit and cellphones are pretty unreliable out in the sticks, do you have any 2 way radio gear with you in the truck?
yup, CB radio in the truck and I carry a radio system when out doing snowmachine/ski stuff for sure
Only work in square body?
Nope, Sypder makes them for all vehicles, check em out:). Autoanything or Cardid usually has them the cheapest.
I could not find any headlights made by Spyer that fit my 2001 F350 SD. What year is yours?
1996
😊

lol only 8 months;)
@@TruckHouseLife ah, ok.
Bit of a fiddly job .How are the fingers bro
healing up, tore ligament bad between pinky and ring finger
Where'd you get that front bumper? I can't seem to find it in your old vids about the truck...
