great video, only problem is when I did this to my track bike I didn't know STG had this kit and I paid about twice as much to do this Fail on my part. great video Brian Van.
That looks good, but I actually like the sight glass function of it all. I never check my reservoirs, I should and this makes it to where you'll always know what you've got in the system. Brake fading could be diagnosed as simple as looking down for a half second. Might as well use tygon tubing, it's laboratory grade tubing.
This looks factory and another way to lose a little weight. While it is not a massive amount it is still worth doing considering how cheap it is. When you go racing professionally pretty much every bike in the paddock will have this done. - Van
Hey van do you recommend this hose to replace the front reservoir hose? it looks better than the black one if it works I’ll change front and back hoses for this one thanks in advance!
I do not use the rear brake unless I am headed off track in the grass so it does not need to be 100% like the front. That said I change the brake fluid multiple times each season so it would never have a chance to really foul the fluid. - Van
I like this idea, Iv seen others on the track use it as well. I do have a question for you tho, ( In your own opining ) do you feel its worth running a chain guard on a track only bike or to take it off? some of the people I ride with don't run them, and some do. is it more of a personal preference or is there a reason to not running it?
I take the chain guards off the bikes. That said I do like to install a toe guard on the bottom of the swingarm. Here is a link to one from Woodcraft on our site with a video install: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-wide-coverage-toe-guard-kit/#pv__tabs - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear i have seen this done to some street fighters and supermotos im not sure if its safe or not but what can you tell me about this. I would like to do it on the front brakes of my bike.. can you convince me not to.?
If you want to do it feel free to do so, that is not something I would do to my bike. In the rear you are able to route the hose is a way it is long enough to hold a reasonable amount of fluid. This would be more difficult to do on the front, especially on a sportbike with fairings. - Van

The point is to save how much weight??
One less taco the night before race day and call it good!

That one little *BEEP* hahaha
It happens from time to time... Van
No rider should be ashamed of a little cussing, and no mechanic should be avoiding its daily use 😂

Yes you can use this hose to connect to the reservoir but you still need to use a reservoir. - Van
The one thing i wonder about is when the bike hits 300 km/h (180mph), will that reservoir hose flap in the wind and potentially losen up/fall off?
It is secured to the bike pretty well and it does not really have enough surface area to make that happen IMO. - Van
Power Bleeder is the name of my thrash metal band’s second album.
Outstanding! - Van
This is good he give you like 35hp yes for doing it.
Buen vídeo! Im like! 💪
Will this fit a 2013 CBR 600RR?
Yes, you could use this on that bike as well. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear thanks Van, I bought it yesterday. Samantha S. Was very helpful!
Can use this kit if my bike still have ABS?
Yes this will still work with ABS. - Van
will it work if the cylinder is mounted horizontally?
Yes it will still work. - Van
What about UV from the sun, or does that tube protect from UV?

Can you install it on an abs version bike?
Yes this would still work on the ABS model. - Van
Will the kit fit a 2015 Kawasaki zx6r 636?
Yes this kit will work on that bike as well. - Van

Can i do this on the front brakes?
No I would not recommend doing this to your front brakes. - Van
