Been wanting this for a long time but couldn't conceive what the best way to do it was, this seems perfect. I can't count the number of times for example I have had to enable highlighting on t1/t2/t3 spell suppression ilvl bases for each build which all have their own filters. Now I can just do the ss ilvl highlighting in a preset and apply it to each one.
Just made a new filter for cold dot trickster and the preset system works perfectly. Had separate presets for Evasion, Evasion/ES and Evasion/Armour rares as well as Decorators for spell suppression ilvl tiers and T1 Sceptres/Wands. Applied each and it just worked. I expected the tiering would get all mixed from each but the prioritisation of T1 choices from each preset means it works as a player would hope.

I was trying to figure out how to work with presets (trying to combine Crimson style with Custom Sounds) and gave up after 30 minutes because the website's interface is completely different from this video.
Yeah sorry about that. We made a full UI overhaul recently. Preset (now called modules) UI took a bit of the short end of the stick and need some more improvements. You can find their UI in advanced-> my modules to create your first modules. Afterwards you can load them from the my filter screen.
Thanks for your continued work making our PoE lives easier ! I wanted to use presets, but it seems the filter rules of the filter I build myself is overwriting the presets instead of the presets overwriting my base filter. That's why I kind of gave up on them. What do you mean with 'own changes' 1:27 ?
Your own changes are the changes that are done directly in the filter/save on filterblade, instead of in the preset. You can change the order of priorities by opening 'presets' and going to 'currently loaded' tab. You can drag and drop the presets and your changes then.
I'm trying to rebuild every sections as presets, but when reseting the said section of the end filter, the presets dont apply anymore. Here is what I did : - I created a preset (C) for currencys (tags: Color-only, Currency) and applied it to one of my filter (A), it overrided what was done on the filter A. - Then I reseted the currency section on the filter A (so no changes from base NeverSink filter), and now the preset C doesnt apply anymore. Is this normal ? It should be the opposite behavior, no ?
That's normal. The base filter has the very lowest priority. The reset button resets all CUSTOM changes (from A+C) back to the base filter. What you want to do is likely: 1) load A (don't apply preset). Reset currency, if you don't want these changes anymore. 2) Add Preset C Also changes in A have priority over C. So if you apply C, you can still finetune in A.
@@NeverSink If I understand how it works, applying a preset is an action on the currently loaded filter, and not a "configuration" that would be applied at the end when saving the filter.
