btw I feel like the soles of the Bambi doll's shoes are not only supposed to be hearts but they also look similar to deer hoof print, which is so so cute! love these dolls, I rly hope they will be available in my country 💖
With the Ursula pants, I think you should paint the white, inner side with fabric paint. I think dye would ruin the print of the fabric, but some fabric paint might work and not blead through or discolor the print. Look for one that is compatible with that type of stretchy material. It might make the fabric more stiff, but that might look cool in a way and make the pant legs stand out more.
So cute! Thanks for showcasing these. I was thinking… in regards to Ursula’s pants, maybe you can do a partial lining with a dark (but thin) fabric? I think it might be a safer option versus dyeing the fabric and you could always remove it if you might change your mind in the future 😄👍
The jaks pacific to me are prettier cuz thier eyes are painted which can give customizers a whole other option to run with. It also makes them look like the Hasbro Disney princess dolls that have a sweeter softer side to them or more cartoon face. The price point also makes them more appealing as Disney store markets thier dolls higher because they know they can for the name. Ursula doll is giving me jasmine vibes so i wonder what she'd look like in a jasmine fashion pack. But also her long hair and skin tone. That's the thing about Disney bounding is everyone can do it and not have to be a certain race to get thier favorite character style or look. Just because Ursula is considered a white character doesn't mean her disneybound has to be. That's what i like in the diversity of these dolls.
Would you say that these Jack's Pacific dolls also have similar quality clothes to the Disney Store ones? It seems like they do. I have the Cinderella one and I love her to death. My favorite thing about her is the quality of her clothing. I'm so impressed that many of the fabrics they've used are human clothes quality, not like the shiny printed on fabric of most playline doll clothes. The accessories are also amazingly. Like you mentioned, I also like that these dolls look like adults, since it is mostly adults around my age that get into Disney bounding. I'm really loving these dolls and I appreciate your in depth review. I'm looking forwad to you doing the Mickey one next. ❤
both parties did really beautifully with the ily dolls ,i use rainbow high doll stands lol it helps to give the ily doll’s height for display, i hate knee high bulky boots on dolls 😂
My favorite is I 🧡 Bambi and I 💙 Stitch and I 💖 Minnie mouse and I 💜 Ursula and I 🖤 cruella ! And I ❤ Mickey mouse and I 💝 Rapunzel Jack Pacific ! And one Disney store I 🤍 Ariel! Love your ILY for ever Dolls because of there style of fashion! Sophia Maria 😊
I really like these dolls. I dont own any yet but I hope to get a few. I didnt realize at first but they have different face molds. I think the disney wave all had the same. U girl has an open mouth, slimmer nose and a more oval face while B girl has a wider nose, closed mouth and a more square shaped face. The extra outfits is awesome. I love mix and match so while I was disappointed in the rh changing their standard I do understand. I know when they release fashion packs I will be a fiend for them but I hope they dont have issues that i have had in the past with second outfits. Pants or tops not closing in the back. My Ainseleys extra pieces were really bad for that.
My Bambi doll had the same problem with her left knee. I jiggled the joint gently until it finally bent. The knee is still stiff but I’m glad it bends now.
I went to Target yesterday and there were tons of every kind of doll, but the only one i couldn't resist was the Bambi girl. There were two of her in the store, but no other small ILYs, just the big ones and their fashion packs. I love her clothes, hair and body. I just don't like her face much. She looks kinda dumb. But I'm very happy to have found her in store. I put her in her 2nd outfit and put her first outfit on a Barbie, and it fits her great.
I love the quality and look of these dolls. I might get the Ursula and Bambi dolls while getting the Stitch one for a relative as they are a huge fan of Lilo & Stitch. The Minnie one got my attention though.❤
From what I have heard, Jakks Pacific actually makes the dolls for Shop Disney. At leas they make the Princess dolls. I would imagine they also make the ily dolls for Shop Disney. Disney's very interesting. They have these rules for toys sold in places like Wal-Mart, specifically for dolls. Everyone wants to fuss at Mattel and Hasbro (back when they did the dolls) for things like the cheaper dresses, the lack of articulation, and the molded on clothes. Those companies can do better dolls. Hasbro used to do Jem dolls, and they were truly truly truly outrageous. Mattel's 90s and early 2000s Disney princess dolls were lovely. Well, Disney had really bad quality at one point for their dolls sold in the stores and the parks so people didn't buy them. They just went to their local Wal-Mart. So, Disney changed their strategy. They decided to make sure their dolls sold in their stores and parks were better quality than the ones sold by Mattel (and later Hasbro and now Mattel again). They gave them limits as to what they could and could not do. This is according to a Mattel rep I used to talk to when I used to work at Toys R Us a long time ago. Add to that places like Wal-Mart pressure businesses to keep the price low (my dad was a person who had to go to meetings with stores back when he was working as a VP for VF Corporation and would talk about this). They do that with toys too. I have no idea how MGA gets away with it and Mattel caves, but it's amazing to me how MGA can just go, "no" and make awesome quality dolls that Wal-Mart is forced to sell. I guess it's just their designs are great and sell well, so Wal-Mart would rather profit. Meanwhile, Barbie continues with the heinous quality they currently have. Seriously, I collect the Barbie Fashion Avenue fashion packs from the mid 90s-early 2000s. They even have working belt loops on a pair of real denim jeans. They're so well-made. Gorgeous clothes. Now, I was asking around about who makes the Disney Princess dolls for Shop Disney. I have the Snow White doll (I love Snow White products), the Alice doll, and the Wendy doll. I was just so amazed at how much nicer they were, but they didn't strike me as Mattel or Hasbro. I also don't believe Disney makes their own dolls. I feel like they send them to a company to make after sketching what they want (Steve Thompson helped design the dolls for ily, and he's a Disney artist; he did a post about it on his Art of Steve Thompson Facebook page when the fashion dolls came out). From asking around, I was told that Jakks Pacific does the dolls for Disney. This was before ily 4ever dolls (toddler or fashion) were around. Looking at the two dolls (at the end of the video) side-by-side, it does seem like they did do the dolls for Shop Disney. The inset eyes would be a way for Shop Disney to have fancier dolls, and the double jointed knees are another way. Jakks must have figured out their issue with the sitting problem and reworked it for these dolls. Another company could make the ily dolls for Shop Disney, but my gut says it is Jakks Pacific. Unless Disney is giving them molds for say the hands and the feet. I am most impressed by the outfits. I have all the Shop Disney dolls except the boy (debating...he's a little too on the nose for Aladdin-inspired since the other dolls didn't look like the characters they're Disney bounding as, so it's a weird choice to me). I have most of the fashion packs. I'm looking forward to finding these. The Target I went to yesterday had nothing. Most of their toy section was just stuff on clearance. Useful since I found a puzzle for $5 that I was missing from a set I've collected (I also do jigsaw puzzles). I was also technically there for Cascade, not doll shopping. ;) Nice job on the review!
I know it was the review of the two Jakks dolls, but you had the Disney one right there! I would have to special order the Disney ones, sight unseen. I already have the Jakks, MIcky, Bambi, and Stitch... the Ursula hasn't been released to a store near me yet. I was considering getting the Disney ones, but online gave different heights, and you are the first person to mention the inset eyes (I wont get them because of that, I wanted them if they more or less matched the Jakks ones. It would have been so helpful if instead of sort of waving them about (it took incremental forward with the arrow key to grab a shot) if you'd just stood them side by side, so I could see the body/head size differences, and then a side by side of their faces that lasted more than less than a second. Otherwise great review, and I wouldn't have asked for the above if you hadn't been already comparing them a bit. For the pants, if I get Ursula, I'm going to try a line of sorts... either a nylon like from a pair of stockings, or maybe a very sheer soft material... and just cut out a liner up to mid calf/knee height... it could just be tacked to the side seams, so no stitching line across the front/back. Or, maybe grey tulle, though that would sort of flare the pants out with more of a stiff look. They have accessory packs coming out too.
Ever since two out of three of my Disney Store ones had eyes gone blurry/blind, I'm not even going to look at them again. I'm definitely interested in getting the Jakks ones, if they ever release in Europe 😢
I saw the 4 of them in store today. I was particularly impressed by the Mickey Mouse and Bambi ones. The Mickey Mouse one had only 1 left on the shelf, and I think it is the best. I think it's because of the hair. It looks amazing. The online photos don't do it justice. You need to see this one in person. Now I regret not picking it up.
i love these SO much. i was obsessed w the disney snow white one and was like 'alright im good now' when i got her, but then the frozen fashion pack was on sale...and they sent me another snow white girl cuz her baby hairs were misprinted so now i have 2...and then i NEED the bambi girl, and then the mickey girl, and the ursula girl has my favorite face and i LOVE those pants. im gonna spend too much money on these
I think the pattern on the bottom of the Bambi inspired knee boots might be deer hoof prints (they do look like hearts). I held off on the Disney Store versions because of the poor poseability, but I think you've convinced me with the Jakks❤
Guessing the coat is a nod to Ursula's hair. My Mickey Mouse one's right ankle has the same issue your Bambi one has with the right knee. So Jakks ones just need the Disney ones knees.
Fun video! Such great dolls. I would love it if you’d do a video on putting these clothes on other dolls, to see what fits (and do some fun mix & match restyles). In particular, I’d like to see the Ursula outfits on the Mattel Little Mermaid Vanessa doll. 💜
I like these dolls but not as much as the Disney store ones. The Disney ones's faces look a lot like the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters so I feel like it almost like DDL merch! 😂❤
I do think the inside of the Ursula doll pants would look more finished if it was doubled lined with the same fabric or at least lined with a grey fabric. The bambi doll is cute and I know they are supposed to represent just everyday girls wearing disney-bounding fashion and not a total representation of the characters, but I do think she'd look cute with brown doe like eyes and freckles kinda representing bambi.
I just got the Bambi one and I cannot for the life of me get her second shirt on! The sleeves will just not come up over her hands! I guess it's a good thing I prefer the white shirt with the Bambi design :/
I'm so enamored of pink and beige together, so I really appreciate the Bambi girl! I love her Bambi sweatshirt, and pretty much everything, except the super plain cowboy boots. I like the color but they are not imaginative. But yeah. I'd buy her if my Target decides to ever start stocking the small ILY dolls.
I love these. I saw all except Ursala the other. I picked up Miss Bambi first, but will probably get all of them eventually. Isn't there an Aladdin boy doll, or did I hallucinate that?
They have bigger heads, no inset eyes, and I don't like the articulation. If this is what we are getting now I'm glad I got the Disney store Asian one. She's much prettier and better articulated in most ways. These new ones look super cheap side by side.
For me the outfits for these dolls just click! I don't like outfits that look mismatched or like someone just add a lot of color and it doesn't work. I like these outfits, I would wear some of them.
have you not heard of girls and gays saying "illlllyyyy"? its kind of the vibe of "bestieeee" lol. Maybe im prepetually online in gay spaces too much lol. But I promise its a thing and thus i always assumed it was supposed to be pronounced "illy".
If I buy any of these it would be the Mickey Mouse one only for her clothes. The clothes on these 2, the fabrics are bad. Seriously the ugly fuzzy fabric, Rainbow High clothes are WAY better..
I like the inclusion of teal and purple with the Ursala doll, it kind of gives her an edgy Ariel vibe too and the pieces can mix w the Ariel doll
I feel like the design for these dolls are more unique and more thought out than the Disney store ones.
I love the new non inset eyes because they are perfect for doll customization purposes! Their faces are now the perfect canvas for a repaint!
btw I feel like the soles of the Bambi doll's shoes are not only supposed to be hearts but they also look similar to deer hoof print, which is so so cute! love these dolls, I rly hope they will be available in my country 💖
Whoops! I said the same before seeing your comment. I totally agree🦌
Thank you so much for giving us some information about opening the box. I have open my today. ❤️😁from Tash in Australia.

It might make the fabric more stiff, but that might look cool in a way and make the pant legs stand out more.
Can you please do a tutorial on how to carve joints for better articulation? I I’d really appreciate it! ❤❤
the ursula doll is sooo cute! btw the hidden mickey on bambi's second pair of boots is on the side of one of the heels
"A lot of people's bank accounts are married to disney, so you can show that off" 😂 the read!!!
So cute! Thanks for showcasing these.

The hat pinch (where it narrows on the top) is usually worn forward, which admittedly is kind of weird with how they've styled the band lol
Oh! I wasn’t sure so I just copied the box. Very weird
Really? I've only ever seen it worn to the back (it looks goofy worn forward imo)
It seems Ursula’s Disney bound boots are inspired by the Stuart weitzman knee high suede boots cute
Would you say that these Jack's Pacific dolls also have similar quality clothes to the Disney Store ones? It seems like they do.

You could name the Bambi girl Bailey. Also, it’s a knitted pattern. It’s incredibly difficult to pull off the look of crocheted things at that scale.
So Lovely ❤ Bambi reminds me of Princess Elionwy!
I want to get the Snow White doll and put her in the Bambi outfit so bad! I still haven’t found any of these dolls at the targets near me yet 😭
both parties did really beautifully with the ily dolls ,i use rainbow high doll stands lol it helps to give the ily doll’s height for display, i hate knee high bulky boots on dolls 😂

You’ve sold me on these! The first review I saw, I was initially put off by the lack of the inset eyes.
My Bambi doll had the same problem with her left knee. I jiggled the joint gently until it finally bent. The knee is still stiff but I’m glad it bends now.

Bambi has the quintessential "millennial" side part, I love it.
I got stitch yesterday 💙🎉 sadly my store had no Ursula. They had 2 Mickey no exclusive yet and lots of Bambi & stitch.
Have you seen the new clothing packs! They’re themed after Disney rides!
These are so cute, I'll have to check the others out. Bambi's red shoes are so darling!
Honestly I am so happy they have non inset eyes. Idk except for rh I find inset eyes on a small scale look so creepy
Greetings! The treads on the boots are deer hoof prints 🙂
I love the quality and look of these dolls. I might get the Ursula and Bambi dolls while getting the Stitch one for a relative as they are a huge fan of Lilo & Stitch.

The eyebrow paint is really pretty
I find them really pretty and i’m obsessed with the ursula one !
I'm surprised l can't find these anywhere online yet!
These look gorgeous and I can’t wait to find them!
I much prefer these personally. I'm not that big on in-set eyes
Ever since two out of three of my Disney Store ones had eyes gone blurry/blind, I'm not even going to look at them again. I'm definitely interested in getting the Jakks ones, if they ever release in Europe 😢

I love your channel I love these dolls
I prefer these to the Disney store ones, the brighter eyes and the extra outfits and no weird legs that pop off too easily.
I hope they make Donald and Daisy inspired ones.
i love these SO much. i was obsessed w the disney snow white one and was like 'alright im good now' when i got her, but then the frozen fashion pack was on sale...and they sent me another snow white girl cuz her baby hairs were misprinted so now i have 2...and then i NEED the bambi girl, and then the mickey girl, and the ursula girl has my favorite face and i LOVE those pants.

you could try sewing a lining into the pants 🤔 edit: actually paint might work better
I really like Jakks Pacific dolls, great quality.
On the outside heel of Bambi’s second pair of boots there is a Mickey
I actually want these two the most! I actually prefer the screening to the inset eyes from the prior line
I can't decide which I prefer... I super like both for different reasons. I think these are more inviting
Fun video! Such great dolls. I would love it if you’d do a video on putting these clothes on other dolls, to see what fits (and do some fun mix & match restyles). In particular, I’d like to see the Ursula outfits on the Mattel Little Mermaid Vanessa doll. 💜
The flare pants, try putting them on backwards. Myself, I would make a copy and use appropriate fabric
I like these dolls but not as much as the Disney store ones. The Disney ones's faces look a lot like the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters so I feel like it almost like DDL merch! 😂❤
Will you be reviewing the Disney ily 4ever festive dolls? They look so cute :)
If I can find them absolutely :) they’re gorgeous!
Bambi girl's skirt is a velour bubble skirt.
These are really cute! I hope that they are readily available in Canada, the Disney store ones are too expensive to import 😅
You can pierce the ears with a thumb tack.
There was a Mickey on the heel of the short boots
I do think the inside of the Ursula doll pants would look more finished if it was doubled lined with the same fabric or at least lined with a grey fabric. I LOOOVE URSULA!
I just got the Bambi one and I cannot for the life of me get her second shirt on! The sleeves will just not come up over her hands! I guess it's a good thing I prefer the white shirt with the Bambi design :/
maybe u could use fabric paint to paint the inside of the pant
Hi Dolls 👋 AHHhhh!!! I want them so much...🎉😊
can you put on those pants the other way so that they longer part is in front and the shorter in back? So that the gray does not show.
I need the Bambi doll! I like the classic movies.
maybe they might make ily 4ever doll inspired by the lion king🦁👑
We love you queeeeeeeeen❤❤❤❤❤
I'm so enamored of pink and beige together, so I really appreciate the Bambi girl! I love her Bambi sweatshirt, and pretty much everything, except the super plain cowboy boots. Halloo👋🏻 I am so excited for the new video😍❤️❤️
I love these. I saw all except Ursala the other. I picked up Miss Bambi first, but will probably get all of them eventually. Isn't there an Aladdin boy doll, or did I hallucinate that?
The Aladdin doll is with the Disney Store
Omg I am in L❤VE with the Ursula one!
Can you turn the bell bottom pants around?
I can't tell..are the arms unable to go closer to their bodies? They look a bit as if they are about to take off in flight!
I like the ILY Dolls I am a fans of Disney I like ariel
How about Bree or Briana or Bethany.
Is Bambi the same from series 1?
There is a hidden micky on the heel. I saw it just when you asked.
Jackx and MGA bring in quality, yet Mattel overprices knockoff dolls pretty much
Where is the mickey doll?🥺
Sew in an inside black lining at the back bottom legs.
Would make them not airy and flowy like they are - which wouldn’t be as cute
@@xCanadensis...darn, that's true.
Hi when do these dolls launch?
I got them at Target yesterday but I think officially they should be out August first!
@@xCanadensis awesome! Thanks 😊
Stitch version doll is the best doll of this wave. Never like the Disney version eyes, they look creepy. Jakks did a good job.
On the bambi doll........On the skirt in the pocket it have a little mickey mouse in dambi pocket........

it's not a u for ursula it's the twin towers
I’m sorry what
@@xCanadensis i saw a 9/11 memorial shirt recently and the u looks exactly like the twin towers on that shirt to a freakish degree
If I buy any of these it would be the Mickey Mouse one only for her clothes. The clothes on these 2, the fabrics are bad. Seriously the ugly fuzzy fabric, Rainbow High clothes are WAY better..
