You were so cute as steamboat Willy. I thought the Belle doll would be my favorite based on pictures because she is my favorite princess next to Tiana, but the Ariel doll’s face is so cute in person. She might be my favorite. I can’t decide, they are all so good.

What I like is that the dolls themselves kind of look like the princesses.
For example I can see this particular doll is kind of Jasmine but I also see a Mulan, Tiana, Cinderella, etc. They need to work on those legs popping off though, they do pop off easily.

My favorite Disney ILY doll is probably the Tiana one. I love dolls with dark hair paired with very pale skin, and Asian dolls are my third favorite in my personal doll bias (I even have an acronym for it: GRA (Goth, Redhead, Asian)), and if a doll falls into any of those three categories, or is a comfort character, I am much more likely to buy them over other dolls. And the Aroura fashion pack reminds me so much of Mal from Disney Descendants. I also hope that they eventually make an Elsa inspired Disney ILY fashion doll with more elegant clothes, because Elsa is my favorite Disney character of all time as well as my favorite Disney Princess.

I agree. I want them to do more dolls with different Disney characters. Or at least fashion packs inspired by different Disney characters. Not only the princesses

As a big Disney fan, and especially a Disneyland park fan, I was *instantly* in love with these dolls when I saw them online. I was able to find them at one of the bigger targets near me in LA county, CA.
I got the Cinderella doll, and I also got the Aurora fashion pack and the Mulan one. I love the doll so much. I think everything is wonderful quality. Personally, I love the inset eyes. My doll's hair feels very good and is styled just right. I love the quality of the clothes and accessories and how thoughtful every piece is. Another thing I appreciated is the diversity of the girls in this line.
My only gripe with the dolls is with the articulation of the hips (I had the same moment as you unboxing mine where I thought for a second that I broke her leg 😅) and that the elbows aren't double jointed. But I'm not letting that bug me too much. I already need more, and I'm crossing my fingers for a wave 2. 🤞🤞
Thanks for subscribing! I'm just personally not a fan of the polypropylene hair, although I will admit that Polly hair can hold a style really well fresh out of the box. Maybe that's why Disney chose to use that hair fiber for these dolls?
@ChadMarvelous From what I hear for people who want to restyle their doll's hair, polypropylene is one of the worst ones to deal with. So it would have been nice to have a better quality hair. But I had just heard from others who had unboxed these dolls that the hair was bad. So when I got mine and her hair looked great and felt nice, I was pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic dolls.
This was a great video. I'm glad you went into so much detail so we can see what the items and dolls are really like. I saw some photos on FB where someone used a fingernail drill to sand off some of the inner crotch area on the torso so the doll can sit at a 90 degree angle in a chair. It looked so much better sitting up straight. Since you can pop off the legs you wouldn't scuff them while sanding the inner torso down. I'm going to try it when I get an ily doll. Looking forward to your other videos in this series. I'll send a photo of the FB post to your Instagram
That is such a good idea! The main issue with the range of movement really is the leg socket itself, so I can see how that would work. I might have to invest in a Dremel tool. I'll keep an eye out for the picture

Hope they make more characters and male characters especially. I don’t really like how easily the hip socket gets dislocated. I think the different Disney treats are really cool but I would like if the dolls could interact better with the treats like they could hold and individually pick up them from plates and such. I’m gonna be getting the fashion packs for my MonsterHigh g3 dolls to Disney bound with my SmartDolls when they ware the 18” fashions from ily4ever.
With this much articulation I would love to see male dolls as well!

I wish one of them was a red head. ☹ I mean how can you just *forget* to include a redhead in a doll line that literally has a doll in the collection that's inspired by *Ariel ?* They seem to be made by the same company that makes dolls for the Disney Store, and that's exactly what you're getting. Updated/premium Disney Store classic Princess dolls disneybounding as each other. lol The hair is just the same *cheap Disney Store polypropylene hair* which frizzes at the ends over time, and comes out in clumps if you try to boil wash the hair, especially if it's a second hand Disney Store doll. My Asian Tiana dolls leg was detached, and flying around inside her unopened box when I got her which was disappointing when you consider the price point. They are really cute, and I like the inset eyes, but $30 seems like a bit much for dolls with cheep polypropylene hair, plus they don't come with a second outfit or a doll stand or even a basic hair brush.
They do have second outfits. You just have to buy them separately for an additional $17 plus tax. The second outfit doesn’t come with the doll like they do with Rainbow High or Monster High. So, if you think about it these ily dolls are more like $47 dolls if you include the second outfit.

I have the Snow White inspired one and Ariel one. I usually I'm not big into Disney but I just love articulated fashion dolls. Like you said, I wish the hair felt less dry, but I did thoroughly wash the Ariel one's hair with dish soap to get the product out, did a deep conditioner on it, a boilwash and I trimmed off the frizzy ends and now the hair feels quite nice, although still a bit dry and stiff, but a lot better than it was.
I also washed and deep conditioned the Snow White doll's hair and I took off the ponytail because it was messy and during the whole process she shed a LOT but honestly I think most of the hair that fell out wasn't attached to the scalp, but it got stuck in her hair when it was cut in the factory and the put in a ponytail. I have had the same issue with the Barbie Looks doll with textured hair who had small pieces of hair laying in her box.
I'm quite impressed with these dolls and their quality. I think I will some more fashion packs later on because they're so expensive. I'll maybe get one more doll of this line but I'm not sure because of the hair quality.
The air quality really is the one major drawback for these dolls. But I really really like the fashion packs, and I love that they work for Barbie as well
