True Siddis are our peoples, my question is if u accept Siddington as our people Why is it we cannot accept nd embrace Coloureds/ mixed races worldwide they too are Black/ other mix just like Siddis are m8xed Black/Indian.
A few Indians are unaware of their fellow Indians shown here. They are as much Indians as you and me, so neither of us can "welcome" our fellow Indians to India. One of the most patriotic, humble Indians to meet. They know a lot of languages as well, depending on what state they live in. Proud Indians, always smiling. 😊
Guess they were raised with both their mothers nd fathers as a fam unite no wonder thry embraced Indian cultures unlike mixed/coloured people where the fathers were absent nd unknown some coloureds to this day dntveven knowctheir fathers names many were even taken from their Black.mothers (not by choice) and put into Homes, Foster care nd orphanages thsts the difference no matter how poor growing in a family unit u feel lived nd well guided.
They Still face discrimination by upper caste who exploited them from hundreds of years . Now these micro loan sharks are sucking their blood run by upper castes .
If you went to any other Indian village you will see people living just like these people. There is no difference! Very clean village unlike some you see in other states!
Dhanjal Sahab, I don't like the NW and North Central anymore. People are not humble and don't care. South is good, next comes Odisha/Orissa. Not saying the whole of NW and North Central are the same. Rab Rakha ji! 🌹
I am so happy that African Indians are well off and living peacefully in India.I had tear of happiness. I didn 't know that Africa is very present in India. India is very diverse, which is good.Very good.
Wow thanks so much brother..for this vedio..these are African Indians..I really love the siddi community..I wish I could visit this place one day at least, to see their smiling faces...lots from Kenya East Africa 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Thanks. Next time you happen to visit there, please, look for young talents and reveal them to the viewers. You never know who will get inspired by a particular story, say music, sports, beauty, and other skills.
Fascinating village. Inhabitants are friendly & hospitable. Some women know Hindi . Some know English. Interesting video depicting lifestyle of villagers
Very good video. I didn't know africa community live in india! Wanted to say welcome to our country. But how could I say? They are India. Lots of love to my africa brothers and sisters.
These Siddi ladies have already mingled into South Indian customs & culture. It is evident from Saree draping style & wearing jasmine flower on head etc.
We have a similar financial scheme called the Stokvels here in South Africa and its truly helpful and life changing. U meet financial goals and do alot due to it. However if the stokvel is the one that lends out money the interest is usually 30% but can go upto 40-50% n they start beginning of the year n distribute end of year.
I'm so happy to explore your afro indian village because I am a Portuguese father Sri Lankan mother born just like a mix salad that's way other countries game mixed culture different the original anyway I am after my age 14 years back to Lisbon I know that my father's cancer no soda my mother Lankan culture
Iman l think it would be nice of you to introduce yourself to the people you meet, where you are from, where your roots are from in Africa or West Indes (?), and it sounds like you have a London accent?
I think in India Karnataka state is most diverse state.. Coz they given place to lots of tribes people. Like these afro people tibetian people siddi people.. Many more. In bangalore i can see lots of outsider
This is india, we believe in peace, we don't have problem with whatever their beliefs. They can. Many Jews are indian , African also are in indian they follow their culture and religion, they live according to them. They only learn indian language for their better communication to the another group of people
Most if the people I saw on your video don’t look African to be honest, most look Indian with dark and deep brown skin. Saw a few that look unambiguously Black and African…so that’s interesting how their DNA has clearly mixed with native Indians. Lovely peaceful place, it seems. Thanks for sharing
Interesting country. Too many different ethnicities, languages and cultures. It surprised me how some Tamil or Dravidian peoples are darker complected than Siddi people sometimes.
Your thoughts 100% it's true that will a type of Sri Lankan Village type when I was 14 years I am living with my mother leaving country type of atmosphere Village around coconut trees similar to Sri Lanka
Hi brother nice to you can speak Hindi very good intelligent person I know little bit Hindi 20% present so hospitable Village People and also you can eat rice and curry with chicken💯💯💯🤌👌🏻👌🏻
It’s a shame that a Siddi community is very hospitable ,whereas we Indians in India are not so hospitable let alone talking to a tourist. Good luck to you Himani Greetings from London 🎉.It is pronounced as Kannada =Kan-A-DA
OmG. Siddis people are so good! At first they seemed hesitant of outside community. Once they accepted me, they showered so much love. They were so kind and offered me such good meals! ❤
I am tamilans from Tamil Nadu,u have see South India, those who are all your blood relation my Tamil,Tamil Nadu, don't ask any political party, ask tamilan to your tour ,all are doing politics in India, only one same in Tamil Nadu with Africa, Australia and prasil, long long ago, they are trying to Tamil with realation of Africa, before freedom both are same❤❤❤❤
The women gathering thing is kinddof like "Kitty party" atleast that's what my mom n her friends group call it. So it's the same concept , except they collect money and give it to the one holding the party also they decide who will the next person holding the party at home based on who needs it the most. So to make it simple. All aunties gather up to do party, one aunty hosts the party at home or restaurant. The host take the initiative to pay for the party . And at the end of the party/event/ small gathering etc., the group members/aunties give the month's collection money is given to the host . Mosty the money is given as a form of support for the household but they enjoy doing it. ❤I love going to one caz it's fun having gossips, playing small games & most importantly GOOD FOOD 🤤🤤🤤❤ Also , just wanted to clarify, I too belong from a Trible group from Jharkhand. Our tribe name is " HO" that means "Human" in our ethnic trible language . Hope you might visit our state toi someday. Btw, our Village is very much similar to Siddhi's and also our facial feature are somewhat similar too. 😅not very much but ya. .. I wonder sometimes, 🤔 if we are related in some way.
Africans are in India centuries before Indians came to Africa. Africans (25000 to 50000) called 'SIDDI' come with Arabs around 700 CE These are Bantus of Southeast Africa. Few Africans followed Portuguese and the British. At present tens of thousands' of Nigerians live in India while Indian were brought to East Africa by Britain in 1895 to construct railways Of the 32,000 or so Indians 2,493 are reported to have died and 6,454 were severely injured in the construction.
Suggestion: Maybe they need to get DNA tests bought for them to compare to the African Diaspora of their African Brothers and sisters of the Continent of Africa to determine their true heritage/identities of where their ancient ancestors derived from. *This is just a suggestion and not meant to offend anyone.
