That fourth story reminds me of a nosleep story where heaven is full, so..bodies come back down. The hopping on one leg thing 😂 So..was the old man leading him someplace...
I'm sorry if this might destroy someone's immersion, but I think the story of Mashano might actually have an interesting natural origin. Please don't scroll down if you don't want to know, or do scroll down if you want to see a conjecture I thought were interesting. Some successful predator animals have an interesting behaviour of killing prey animals and leave the prey behind without eating to shake off "contender(s)" so they can 'hunt in peace'. If my memory serves, we observed this behaviour in some tigers, but I don't know if there were other predators with the same behaviour. Blood scent + gunfire might have formed a "ritual" that alert the predator that there might be something else hunting in their turf, so it's like "You take this and I hope we don't cross each others' path".

Honestly, I adore that first story. It kinda feels silly? Just nice tbh.
It can be a short ghibli movie.
Magnificent as always many thanks again Tara 😊
Thank you for being so consistent Tara! You're my favorite niche youtuber
