Hello! I found you out because we share the same love for Budapest! I used to live there as well and once you 've been to this city, you always want to revisit! I loved your video, full of amazing information and beautiful places. You are very beautiful as well and I really liked your energy, magnitizing, cool and hype without the fake influencer enthousiasm we mostly see in YT. Keep up the good work, you gained a Greek fan here! Love, Sia.
Budapest is nice, but I love Prague. For similar reasons to yours. Have been there so many times. My brother used to live there and to me Prague is the real deal. Budapest is a bit too big for me. Prague would be just the right size for me. Although I don’t like cities in general but I love Prague and would visit again any time.
Also Hungarians have not really been our friends in the past so I guess that plays a role as well. Also the language barrier is big in Hungary and they don’t speak English at least from my experience.

Little history correction. The austrians never conquered Hungary. After the battle of Mohács in 1526, where the ottomans severly defeated the hungarians, a significant part of the hungarian noblety offered the hungarian crown to the House of Habsburg (another fraction crowned János Szapolyai and it ended in a long civil war), so from that on the Habsburgs nominated the king of Hungary, but they had to be crowned separatly, the two states did not merge. The so called Austro-Hungarian Empire only existed for a few decades (from 1867 to 1918 or 1920, depends on the view point) but even that was a dual monarchy, not a centralized state.

can you use oscar from bratislava to hungary? it used to be cheaper than the train
If you mean the bus, all the options I checked were not convenient compared to train, or with bad timing!
