Yeah, while stomping on the edge to make it fall is stupid and unhelpful the fact is if someone can do that with their foot and a couple of stomps then that ground was already effectively gone and the sea would claim that area in a short amount of time anyway.
well you can't really stop the sea
Complain all you want about stompers, the sea doesn’t care
The sea is rising. Simple
Gee wiz , this whole country is an island and loads of beach erosion has been slowed or halted by putting big rocks or man made concrete things in place yet “nothing” can be done at sunset beach ? This is no surprise and started when I lived there 20 odd years ago , so to stand by and do nothing for all that time will only result in …. Maybe nothing being done.??? Mr Beattie has had lots to say over the years but done approximately zero = outcome achieved , therefore is what’s happening right now. Very sad as it’s a lovely spot.
I think there's still going to be a beach day next summer mate. The government can't wait to relocate you into a smart City
Everyone wants to blame someone else for their situation. Coastal erosion was happening long before you set up on the coast . Your choice, your consequences.
i feel sorry for this lady,,, but the port has been eroding for 20 plus years, home owners knew it was happening,
bohooo just like those idiots complaiing about floods when they build their homes in floodlands
Soon that lady will see that it's the high tide that does majority of damage and blame the moon 🤣
Weeeh weeeeh weeeeeeh cry me a river
Why why why would you think your better than nature more entitled than other's and you deserve to be assisted by nz tax payers pay when they eventually slip into the ocean because you made a dumb irresponsible decision???
