Had the pleasure to hear Alex performing with Alison Neale, John Pearce, Dave Green and Steve Brown at a packed Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho last night. A marvellous musical dialogue from start (Tangerine) to finish (Anthropology). Deserves to be on a recording.

Great performance. I thought you should have won, myself. Your soloing and use of rhythmic playing across the bar line was a cut above the others in my humble opinon.
