A lot of new artists in Korea are not strong vocally. They are picked for looks, dancing abilities or rapping skills. So many improve with time. Holland doesn't have the same help as he would get from a big entertainment company. I think it is better than his first release.

Your reaction is probably why most movies or TV shows just show quick pecks on the lips for both straight and LGBT couples, those pecks are what we are used to seeing, so seeing an intense kiss like that can be uncomfortable to see, not just LGBT, but for straight couples too, it's something most of us associate with the bedroom, something done in private. But like I said, a very intense kiss that well damn, I wish were shown in the majority of films and shows instead of those little pecks. An intense kiss shows us more of their chemistry than a peck does.
Holland is such an important person in the KPOP industry. Kpop idols have to pretend they’re straight to keep being in the group or band they’re in. Write heterosexual lyrics, portray heterosexual relationships, while feeling conflicted inside because, it just doesn’t feel right to be with this woman/man. I feel so bad for all the closeted idols out there having to cut off their feelings to keep enjoying their career. Example: Holland is being himself and is expressing his love interests without fear of how people would react, because it contradicts with what others think. While in “I’m so afraid” he is scared to be his self because of the ideal vision of society. Example: The female dancer represents Holland, as they are wearing the same clothes. When she kisses her reflection it shows self love, but after she is confused. They might have chosen a female dancer due to the fact many Koreans think that a relationship is just bound between male and female. If you compare the concept between the 2 music videos they might seem completely different. “I’m not afraid” is about acceptance, while “I’m so afraid” is about self doubt. People in the LGBTQ+ community want to express and accept there selves but sometimes they are scared on how society/family/friends will react and if they will accept them.

You know I think this man is doing a good thing for Korea to openly come out and tell us his feelings, I respect that. I am not Gay myself but I will support Holland from now on. But Korea shouldn't be discriminating about who you Love, because well LOVE is LOVE. And here is the thing everyone ships other K-Pop idols, for example from BTS Jimin and Jungkook. But when someone comes out as gay theres a problem and that is what I don't get.
This whole thing it's more complicated than it seems: as everybody knows, idols in Korea (but not only in Korea, also in Japan) have a very restricted life style and they can't have, legally speaking, any relationship, with anyone. Once you sign a contract you are under the label's control. And i know that it may seems that i'm exagerating, but trust me, it's really like this. So, to get to the point: first thing first, the korean fandom is based on "dreaming that my loved singer/actor is my sweet perfect boyfriend". Obviously in their head they know that this is merely a dream and they know that every other fan have the same dream, but they also know that idols can't have relationship because they are everyone's property, so they feel safe. So, for grow their dreams of the perfect boy, they ship thei favourite idol with another boy, because it's not realistic, it's an improbable fantasy. Do you have ever ask yourself why they don't ever imagine their idols with a woman? It's because they would feel like if another girl stole their throne and also because it's a fantasy with more probability to became true and so, they wouldn't like it, because "He is everyone's oppa". So, this little stupid game in their mind, is fuc***g convenient, because for them it's just a game. In the end, they have a very conservative culture, so if a man is gay and has really a relationship with another boy, they don't like it at all, let alone if we are tlaking about their loved idols. In those case they would risk a public lynching ( not to mention loosing their career and probably pay the legal penalty for for failing to comply with the contract). I know, it's freaking ipocrit and disgusting, because they shouldn't have to bear all this insane pressure, but the chancing that they need is culture change from the foundations and they have a long way to go unfortunatelly.

THEORY: “I’m not afraid” and “I’m so afraid” are like parallel universes. Parts of songs sound the same but at the same time a different ring. “I’m not afraid” was Holland embracing who he is. Example: Holland is being himself and is expressing his love interests without fear of how people would react, because it contradicts with what others think. While in “I’m so afraid” he is scared to be his self because of the ideal vision of society. Example: The female dancer represents Holland, as they are wearing the same clothes. When she kisses her reflection it shows self love, but after she is confused. They might have chosen a female dancer due to the fact many Koreans think that a relationship is just bound between male and female. If you compare the concept between the 2 music videos they might seem completely different. “I’m not afraid” is about acceptance, while “I’m so afraid” is about self doubt. People in the LGBTQ+ community want to express and accept there selves but sometimes they are scared on how society/family/friends will react and if they will accept them.

This whole thing it's more complicated than it seems: as everybody knows, idols in Korea (but not only in Korea, also in Japan) have a very restricted life style and they can't have, legally speaking, any relationship, with anyone. Once you sign a contract you are under the label's control. And i know that it may seems that i'm exagerating, but trust me, it's really like this. So, to get to the point: first thing first, the korean fandom is based on "dreaming that my loved singer/actor is my sweet perfect boyfriend". Obviously in their head they know that this is merely a dream and they know that every other fan have the same dream, but they also know that idols can't have relationship because they are everyone's property, so they feel safe. So, for grow their dreams of the perfect boy, they ship thei favourite idol with another boy, because it's not realistic, it's an improbable fantasy. Do you have ever ask yourself why they don't ever imagine their idols with a woman? It's because they would feel like if another girl stole their throne and also because it's a fantasy with more probability to became true and so, they wouldn't like it, because "He is everyone's oppa". So, this little stupid game in their mind, is fuc***g convenient, because for them it's just a game. In the end, they have a very conservative culture, so if a man is gay and has really a relationship with another boy, they don't like it at all, let alone if we are tlaking about their loved idols. In those case they would risk a public
