Time for our second vlog in our Efteling vlog series! We ride my favourite ride ever and watch the Raveleijn show! We then check into the magical Efteling Village Bosrijk, complete with a room tour of our centrally located family room.

Helena saying 'I wanna live here' on Droomvlucht is so relatable, I think every little girl in The Netherlands has dreamed of living there. And some of us still do 😉
Awww it is just SO magical! I will never forget that first feeling of riding it 😍
The Efteling likes to preserves his nature. There was a tree blocking an attraction. They digged it out and replaced it to keep nature the main attraction in the whole Efteling. Aquanura is way better in the dark. And if you can, reserve a sport at Lorelei. Its on the side bar at the theatre. Ita amazing in the dark. Winter time is really fun, they have woodfires and usually had an ice skating paradise. Youre staying at one of the castles. Klaas vaak also reads a night time story for kids downstairs around 8 pm or so. Hes on the artwork on the wall together with his best buddy Oohoo the owl. He puts sand in your eyes makes you go to sleep together with his sleeping song. There are rooms aswell that you can bring your own food that you can prepare. All in all the intire park is package complete. Every time you walk or visit there, you see some new details or hear something new that has been there for ages. Enjoy

Another fun Efteling fact, they have a villa on the outskirts of the park called Villa Pardoes. Here they host chronic sick children for 5ish days for free to give them the time of their lives. The little rooms in the villa are all themed and they can use a secret entrance into the park.❤

Absolutly. And you can give a Donation in the Area at the Entrance. There is a Miniature Villa Pardoes with Infos and Collecting Boxes. Every Cent counts and is highly preciuos investet. The Rooms are for the Family, not only the sick child.
Usually when I am at the park and there is no line for it, I go and eat my lunch on Gondaletta, just 20 minutes of relaxing

The old-school teampark/carrousel section is actually called the Anton Pieck Plein/Place. Anton Pieck was actually the designer of a lot of the fairytales in the forest. And everyone that came after him were inspired and used his style for all the rides and theming in the parc.
The parc was opened 71 years ago so these carrousels and such really fit with that time.
Such a special individual, Anton Pieck. Thank you for passing on that information. Lovely that they named it after him. The style is unmistakably Efteling and that’s down to him. Thank you so much for watching 😊 x
Loved this vlog! Fun fact about Raveleijn: If you see people walking through the windows of the little houses in the decor, that's because that is actually the office space of Efteling! They can watch the show through their windows in the office! Also, with Droomvlucht being my favorite ride, I loved that Helena liked it so much 🥰 & The hotel looks stunning! x 🍄✨

I love how you said you liked the ride system in Droomvlucht because it makes you feel like you're flying - that's exactly what Ton van de Ven (the creator of that ride and successor to Anton Pieck) envisioned! There's a really beautiful documentary about the ride's creation here on youtube, I believe it's called "Dromen met open ogen" (dreaming with open eyes) 🥰

Nothing beats the sight of adults become children again, that has always been the big strength of The Efteling, nobody actually wants to leave at the end of the day!

I'm originally from Wrexham UK but I've lived and worked in the Netherlands for 20 years now. I love taking my wife and kids to the Efteling, they love it and so do I. We usually stay 2 nights in the hotel. I really love seeing other people (who live outside the Netherlands) visit the park and hear their views on it.
We loved the Netherlands. We definitely want to return and check out some other places. Everyone was so friendly and kind to us. It really made such a fantastic impression on us. We loved it. ❤️ Thank you for watching x

The efteling in the winter is so buetiful its fuly in winter theme and you can ice skate and aquanura looks more buetiful because its is dark only thing i dont like its so cold😅 (sorry for bad english cause i am ducht)

As far as I can tell the colors came out absolutely great. Being pretty familiar with most these rides I usually skip the on-rides but I watched every single one that was included this time. Awesome vlog, thanks for sharing!

Love this series, the park looks so amazing! Great to see you two experiencing it for the first time. Maybe one day you'll have your own 'creepy hand' and 'slinky dawwwg' of Efteling that you always go back to 😅 if you know what I mean

I've stayed at this hotel years ago. I can remember that on the lake when it gets dark there's a little show about mister sandman in his castle. But I don't know if they still have that at the moment!

We go once a year gor a couple of days to Efteling and stay at Bosrijk , we love the atmospere and just the feeling of stayong in that fairytale world

(i am watching al the vlogs back to back now and distited I will tell one story/fun fact of the efteling to)
Okay first of all you guys were so lucky. Raveleijn had a lot of trouble lately. From fire to cast members getting hurt. The show already changed a LOT since the opening. (you can find online the show of 2012 which i recommend because the story is a lot clearer) Raveleijn is a WONDERFULL story. Today in the show you can see the story but a lot of context seems to be missing. If you want the WHOLE story I recommend the book that was written for the efteling and her show. But also from this story is a GREAT serie. better than the magical world of Pardoes. The serie gives a lot of caracter to the whole story and battle.
Another series! That’s fantastic. Also I love having books about theme park things. That’s interesting, I’ll definitely search out the original version to see how it changed. We heard about the fires. We hope everyone’s okay. Thank you for watching 😊 x

It is a pity that the large planets in the Droomvlucht are still not there, they fell during the major maintenance.
Do they go in the room with the floating buildings in space? Hopefully they return some day. We loved that ride so much. 😊 x

Really affordable saying the one that is staying for free. Lot's of people cannot even afford to just go without sleeping over. And getting the basic facts wrong. You stayed in a themed room. Everything at efteling is themed. The efteling hotel has themed rooms like carousel, little red riding hood etc. Loonsche land has themed accomodation, just different. Like your enthusiasm but this is just pissing me off big time.

We 100% appreciate everyone’s feedback and recommendations. It not only helps us but also others looking in the comments. And you really helped me because it made me realise I had giving out the wrong info. The Efteling hotel will remain the only hotel with themed suites I was meant to say. When referencing the affordability we were talking in reference to other certain theme parks after having compared prices of trips. We apologise that we did not present the point clearly. We are truly grateful for any opportunity and knowledge how fortunate we were to have our stay gifted. We are amazed with these opportunities if they come along and the last thing we want to do is offend or cause anger. And of course i am looking forward to watching the rest of your efteling vids. *And although i don't like raveleijn, i did like the fact that you showed a bit more, not the standard tricks on the horse, and the explanation on the plate at the front* If you are able to come back another time *in whatever way* i hope you will get to see aquanura like it's meant to in the dark. And the new dance macabre will be open. And maybe it will be in the winter when it's a completely different atmosphere.*I seriously think you will laugh so hard when you see all things they do in winter time*
