  • I tried comparing Benelli 828U sport vs. CITORI 725 Pro trap with Shotkam.
    This is continental trap shooting and this level is between American trap and Olympic trap.

    Right now i have the Browning Citori CXS as my clay sports shotgun. Love it! Just switched from using a semi-automatic shotgun to the O/U and i love it!

    I like the Benelli and wouldn't mind getting one but I think they are overpriced. I am really a Browning man and recently bought a new XS Pro which is totally brilliant. You should aim a little higher to start with as the clays are rising fast and thus you are having to chase the clay. Aiming higher and seeing it into the kill slot will make it quicker and easier to hit.

    Stay with the pro trap or switch out for guerini or rizzini trap with the adjustable rid set it 60 40 then leave it alone . The s2000 or maxim at trap .

    Im between Benelli 828u 28inch and browning 725 sport 30inch
    Using for both trap and hunting. Any idea which one to get ? The carbon fiber piece getting loose on the Benelli scares me

    • @SeattleBelta007
      @SeattleBelta007  Рік тому

      For both, I might choose Nemo NXS sport. It has shorter stock than others but it feels more comfortable and solid for me and I got the best record of mine during bunker competition 2022. You can see that in one of my video. Recently I readjust CITORI 725 stock and I expect it would be good for Olympic trap but I need to test it and compare it with my other gun. If you want to choose between B and C, B would be likely to fit your purpose because B has 3 inch chamber but CITORI Pro trap has only 2.75” one.

Foot poition will de different for each peg . I use an imaginary line from my back foot heel through my front foot second toe to my hold point above the trap very neutral . This will give me enough swing left or right . And lastly when you are practicing alone slow down imagine you are shooting with 2 other people .
