    I love your videos, I love the way simple way you explain how to do things. I have started cutting my son and my husbands hair and let me tell you if not for your step-by-step instructions those two would be looking busted. I know this is a lot of peoples career and for me this is a hobby. Its something I love to do and with the times we are in I have started giving free haircuts to the kids on my block with their parents permission. Its practice for me and helpful for those in the community I live in. I appreciate you!

    Thanks Ant for making your videos chill and easy to follow im actually trying to learn how to do this for my bf still no shops open and he works in a place where it gets really hot and he needs his hair short he usually gets a fade so here we go no turning back 🙃 I just have some questions.. 1. What do u mean when u say weight is it the shadows u see in the fade? 2. Always start with the lever closed at the beginning of guide line close it half way in the middle of guide and open it up all the way at the end working your way up the bottom of guide line to the top right? 4. To remove stubborn weight do it with clipper blade all the way open and only use corner of clipper? I've been putting it off for weeks cause I'm scared to mess it up but I feel bad for him so here goes wish me luck 😆

    • @AntTheBarber
      @AntTheBarber  4 роки тому +1

      I never start with my lever closed , I always set my guides with the lever OPEN . Weight is hair that really stands out from the look im trying to achieve , yes sometimes it looks like shadows in the fade .

Could you please do a video concentrating on how you transition from the fade on the sides to the length on top on a high and tight comb over please. Most people videos seem to concentrate on the parting side and putting a hard part in but not the other side of the head. Hope this makes some kind of sense to you. Thanks👍.

    These videos are great keep posting 🔥 content. I had a request, if I could, can you make a video regarding the lighting at your spot? I know you’re probably using a ring light to shoot the vids but what are some alternatives (cheap if possible)? I’ve been trying all your techniques on my son ever since the quarantine started and I seem to continue leaving lines that I can’t see because of my sketch bathroom lighting. Honestly, that and the lack of practice are the only things that I can attribute that too. I’d really appreciate it.

    lMind of stuck .. When you start closing the lever little by little and start blending the guide out , how do you you know whem to close , it more and more to move up . I see how it moves up as it keeps closing the lever, but how do you know when to close it up ? Do yo start back at the beginning after every close of the lever ? Thnks Bro , really appreciate your vids.

    • @AntTheBarber
      @AntTheBarber  4 роки тому +1

      I'm not sure if I understand but when I set my bald guideline in I start with the lever closed and little by little work my way up and open the lever little by little while working my way up , once the lever is fully open the guide is blended out 🙏🏽

      @peupeuguy310 4 роки тому

      Ant The Barber , i guess how do yo know when to mve to the next notch? ( closing the lever ) , Like if its open and then you close it a bit then close it again , at what point do you know its time to close it up little by little . sorry bro really hard to explain , really trying to grasp all the knowledge i can before i butcher my shit up Lol
