I purchased the JKT CAI and SCT Tuner kit and was hoping you’d show us how to program the CAI modification with this tuner
If anyone has the SCT BDX and a problem with "check engine" lights, rough idle, engine shut offs, or features like steering wheel effort control setting won't work after you do your complete install, try shutting off the car and turn off everything. Then go disconnect the negative terminal of your battery for 2-3 minutes and then reconnect it. Now, start the car and everything should be fine. I found I had the above problems after my tune install using the SCT BDX. However, after I did the battery disconnect/ reconnect--my car was fine and ran well. It seems that disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery allows the onboard computer to completely dump the old files and then allows the computer to "learn" all the new file setting that have been updated and installed into your on-board computer.
I used a TSX/SCT wireless on mine and it worked fine for a basic tune.
Basically all got on it was the 97 tune wich advances the timing.
Now with that being said the tsx doesn't have the capability of this one nor the x4.
For your more serious tuner I'd stick with the x4.
But I'm sure this works just fine and I like the part about the WiFi capabilities and automatic update function.
I had a BDX bought from another source and it was great until I needed to do a crank relearn. It does not have that function, but the X4 I replaced it with does. Absolutely a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they update it.
I have an SCT tuner, I think its for 2015-2017. I think they are great tuners. Fast and reliable.

Whatever you do, do not turn off ignition or unplug the tuner while installing a tune. My ECM got trashed because of this happening. Very pricey to fix.
So tis tuner is only available for the '15 up cars?

We used the black GT for the intro and the vehicle tuned is our Ecoboost painted Ford Stealth Grey.
I updated the device , it is not working on my mustang 2016 GT, SCT are not answering me

Got this tuner and I DONT recommend It. The software on it has a horrible bug where every time you want to flash your vehicle you MUST return it to stock and then apply the tune. Takes about 15-20 min instead of 5 min with a regular x4.
