I was able to get a bottle a day after it popped up on the website and have been enjoying it ever since. I agree with you Erica, this is one of the best PDM creations. This is going to be very popular. The best way I can describe it to people is that is smells like the most decadent caramel, extra vanilla latte poured onto a pile of fresh sawdust.....and I mean that in the most interesting and amazing way that one's mind can envision. The projection and longevity is off the chart, as well. PDM nailed it with Althair. This is going to be a huge winner.

My sister says it smells like the original boss bottled no.6, but personally I think it starts off smelling more like a smoother refined version of layton and then dries down into more of a gourmand caramel scent like mazzolari vaniglia or jovoy fire at will. Something like that, not really an exact copy of either of them but similarities to layton with the cardamom & vanilla in the opening and then that caramel vanilla smell in the dry down like mazzolari vaniglia has.

Very interesting to compare a PDM vanilla to Starlight. If anything, I would've expected it to be more towards Layton/Ani. But I got a 2ml on the way.
I will definitely have to try a sample. Very interesting. I’m a big vanilla fan.

I’d love to see a comparison of Althair with the other most popular fall/winter gourmands with vanilla/cinnamon profiles, PdM Oajan, spicebomb extreme, TF tobacco vanille, PdM Herod
I have 3 Marley colognes. Not my best, but it’s a banger!! Longevity is great. I could still smell it the next day.

Starlight is definitely worth the purchase! Cardemom perfection. All I'm going to say is that once you smell it in the air around you, you'll realize just how perfect the name of the fragrance is.

I got mine at the PDM boutique last weekend and I love it. It definitely isn’t like any other PDM. It seems to be ok in the heat right now. I have a feeling it is going to come alive in the cooler weather.

Imagine layton...but now make layton sweeter, smoother and then add caramel. Then you have althair...I once in a video said layton would be better if it had more vanilla and was smoother and sweeter, less harsh/sharp...Seems like they watched my video and took my advice and released Althair because that's exactly what I asked for haha and it's just a better version of layton.

@@StevenTwoTwoto be fair, I hate layton too but it's only like slightly similar. You'll probably like this one it's more of a vanilla scent just with cardamom in it. But it's the same vanilla and same cardamom they use in layton so you will smell similarities to layton but it's not the same. This is smooth and nice. Layton is green and woody, this has no green smell in it

I just got back from Nordstroms here in Honolulu about an hour ago. They recently added Parfum De Marley to their store about a month or so ago. I smelled a dozen PDM colognes, including Layton/& Exclusif, Herod, Carlisle, Percival, Sedley, Oajan, Pegasus/ & Exclusif and a few others. The last bottle I picked up was Althair. I had no idea it was their newest release. I am sort of a gourmande lover, so this caught my attention right away much more than most of the others. I actually sprayed it on my arm which I'm smelling as I type. If you just look at the note breakdown you can tell it was going to be a winner. I told my friend their at the the store, "I can't wait to get home and see what the notes are in this". I new it would be somewhat gourmande in the breakdown. Sure enough. Good stuff. I really liked it. I'd recommend it for sure.
