Recently came across a Tahoe Limited that was being scrapped.
I purchased the roof for $100, yes $100.
The guy gave me the old headliner…
Now I am more motivated, especially with your video, to reupholster the headliner.

I know I'm late to the game but great job. I'm thinking about dropping a sheet of light weight fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin on mine to make it rigid and just paint it

NICE WORK! I was trying to figure out how to get those rear seat belts out.
Torx bit and ratcheting box wrench if you wanna take em off. Still might be tight.

The seat belt torx bolts come out by putting the just the torx bit in the bolt and takeing a 3/8” wrench and turning the bit itself with it. Just be careful to not scratch the tint.
Lacquer thinner practically dissolves the old foam
I've seen that method before. This was quicker and easier with no penalty since it doesnt actually fasten the headliner to the roof. But I will need to change the seatbelt color eventually..... Thinner.. Good to know. Thank you, Sir.
Now... What tips you got before I do this carpet???
Pray the carpet wasnt glued down, clean up takes hours if it is. If you get carpet, get the essex cut with jute backing, im going with the vinyl mats carpet. Clean any rust you see and repaint. Takes about 60-70 square feet of sound/heat insulation for bed pan front to back.
Also take the tim to give all your botls a vinegar bath and soak in derusting liquid and a quick spay paint
No glue, Got cut pile w backing. Back soundproofed.
Liking the videos. Did you get the garage door opener to work? You should do a video on that no body put that in an OBS. Glad I find a local UA-camr
No it didn't work. I can tell that it is programmed but didn't open the door. Chamberlain makes an adapter.

For the garage door opener controls, mine blink green.

Not functioning at the time. But it does now and it is still red.
Speaker need to be sealed from the front wave get some of that sound deadening and cover the front so its solid .
You should wrap the side panels too. Looks good!

I just got 9 yards from ebay because I used the fabric other places. 4 yards should be enough for the headliner only.

Just search faux Suede on ebay. and I used gorilla glue adhesive. That is all I purchased.
Don't use Gorilla glue. Update coming soon.
