Hey im from the UK, that stadium is called Wembley stadium, one of our most famous ones, also that captain Tom Moore guy raised over £30 million for the NHS, just by walking around his garden, he even received a knighthood from the Queen, the rainbow coloured lights were for LGBTQ+, and the bird and heart was created by drones, that was the first time we ever done that, we usually just have the fireworks at the London Eye
Also the bell ringing at the beginning is significant because it is “Big Ben” the name of the actual bell not the tower, which has stopped ringing due to maintenance for the last few years, so to all the British people it meant a lot to hear Big Ben truly ring. Of course followed by London’s best celebrations of the New Year we’ve ever had
I think you need some context. London said there would be no display due to Covid-19, and then at midnight put on this show as a total surprise to everyone. It was low key but beautiful.
Blue/white lights to represent Clap for Our Carers and the NHS Honour Captain Sir Tom Moore for raising over £1 million for the NHS Rainbow of colours for Global Pride, Red and green to praise the work of Fare Share and Marcus Rashford in helping feed the UK’s starving children Green and blue design of the Earth and calls for continued action on climate change by Sir David Attenborough
You should react to the normal London new year fireworks it’s usually a much bigger display. You should react to the 2018/19 display I went to see that in London omg one of the best experiences in my life. Really enjoyed this years display with all the messages and lights. They said there wouldn’t be any fireworks but they surprised us all on tv. Great reaction video 🙂👍
You should react to what the fireworks are like in a usual year in London. They were very scaled back this year due to the government not wanting crowds to gather. They are amazing
We here in the UK are proud of our country, our NHS, our history even if it's not always been something to be proud of.. But we still praise it or take lessons from it.. That is what makes us British, we love eachother no matter the colour of our skin, the love we have for another human or the faith we hold. Because at the end of the day we all bleed one colour when we are hurt. we unite together as one because it is what we do.
The bird is a nightingale. It's a symbol of the nhs (national health service) it's the 🇬🇧 UK version of health care. The nightingale hospital got built in 9 days.
You didn't listen to know, "why is the bird blue though" for the NHS, the colour is blue. It's hard to enjoy when you are fidgeting & dropping lids on the floor etc all the time ngl ( just some feed back ) but glad you enjoyed the fireworks, London always shows out....can you imagine the USA throwing up a BLM sign for the whole nation? nah! but they should!
lol - no it isn't - the bird is the nightingale - the name of the pop-up London hospital which was built in 9 days to help support the NHS due to Covid.

In some ways they probably did the UK a favour just to ensure that Covid transmission rates go down
It’s blue for NHS.
