Dude I have already finished the cover of that song but there's a lot of stuff that have been going on over the past few months that I haven't really found much time to edit the clips and I haven't found time to invest in my channel in general. Now things are being sorted out so I have some time to do some covers and I've been working on some new KsE songs all day today. So there will be a few covers up this week.

Other than the casual: practice slow and then slowly increase speed (a metronome helps), Metallica.. a lot of Metallica..
+Arthur. Florence Also, a badass drummer might also help I guess. I'm lucky to have a very close friend who is a phenomenal drummer. So back in the day, we would jam together and he would blast beat, double bass etc the fuck out of everything so I would downpick the fuck out of everything over what he was playing too, for no particular reason, just fucking around. So that + a lot of early Metallica is how I improved mine. I never tried to play slow with a metronome or any of that stuff honestly. Although that might be the best way to go.
RAZOR AIAS Wish I knew a drummer, or a bassist, or had any friends at all. I'l try the metallica thingy, any song in mind? I'm not much into anything that's not from this century.
+Arthur. Florence You can try pretty much everything from their first 3-4 albums. Since this is a Bullet cover though, Bullet has some nice songs for practising downpicking. Ashes Of The Innocent, Spit You Out, Her Voice Resides, No Control, the verse riff of Pretty On The Outside, Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow, *Waking The Demon* and a ton more. Waking The Demon might be the best one to practice downpicking. There are a lot of people who alternate pick it. You can find songs from your favorite bands that are fast and are probably being alternate picked by the guitarist and try and play them using downpicking instead. I did that with a lot of Trivium and AILD songs early on for example.
