- Over time, your glycol chiller's pump can wear down and create more resistance against the pump key, causing it to deteriorate faster than normal. The solution may be to replace the pump entirely. Here, we explain the process, including how to remove the Oetiker-style clamps and preserve the original tubing.
For a replacement pump, reach out to the chiller manufacturer, UBC Group, at (636) 379-2226 with your chiller serial and model number (located on the unit as a silver sticker).
Note: glycol will pour out of the lines when you remove them from the barbs. Have a bucket or large container handy to catch this liquid and prevent spills.
For further assistance, give us a call at (888) 618-0486.
