''What you know and what you're comfortable with'' I couldn't agree more with this! At the end of the day, ALL trucks will need maintenance eventually. it is not that i dont think i could figure it out....it is that i know more about the fords and the cummins than the duramax. there is no shame in admitting you dont have the experience to feel comfortable.

@@j.c.smithprojects I test drove a regular cab with same 6.7 but was manual and the exhaust brake would almost throw you thru the windshield 1st,2nd,3rd was a hell of a truck
i think we are all in the same boat. it is all in what you want....i live in a small house, i dont take vacations and i am very careful with money...after living like this for a long time...i can finally afford to buy a nice truck...of course they are both used, which is just fine with me!
Good for you. Changing brands is hard and not for everone. But atleast tou tried. I did the opposite of you. I traded in a 2004 1500 silverado for a 2015 ram slt 1500 5.7L. Now the hemi I miss but the constant repair to the transmission and the rust setting in made me switch back to chevy.
There's no problems with transmission just dumbass who don't no how maintain them 304 thousand before mine went out, just take care of them right they got a better trans than the Allison, just got to be maintained
My friend is trans mechanic and the old Dodge trans built properly are stonger than a Allison, he just built mine says there's nothing at all wrong with them other people letting filter clog
Key word is the old dodge ram transmission. The new dodge transmissions are a known weak spot. I am sorry your brand loyalty has blinded you. 1 personally don't want a truck that always needs maintenance. Chevy guys were telling me about how the wheel bearings are great as long as you repack them every year. I am not repacking my bearings every year. I am going to hop in my tundra, drive it for another 100,000 miles (on top of the 225,000 it has), and change the oil every 10,000 miles and thats it. Obviously I will do tires and stuff, but we got 150,000 miles out of the stock spark plugs. This truck needs nothing.
I know people with dodge rams that need new transmissions after 25,000 miles. They put in an aftermarket built transmission, and drive the wheels off of it. The ram is a wonderful truck, just needs the transmission weak spot addressed.
thanks mattew...i should have paid closer attention i was frustrated as i had been interrupted with 4 phone calls while i was trying to make this video...my mistake.
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS understand sir, you're a pretty smart fella so I figured it was just a simple mistake, add the interruptions and there you have it. No worries.
I've had plenty of gm and Ford trucks but in this case I'd probably take the dodge, I never cared for that generation of gm and if you are going gm I'd want the Denali package as I have on my 06, incredibly comfortable for those long days on the road.
Nice Ram get you some Weather tech lazer mats for the front of it. We have them in the wife's new Honda and the boy's F150, their a life saver in all the mud and nastiness we're having down here this year.
Good for you, both beautiful trucks but, you know what you want. That GMC won't last long, someone will be thrilled to have it, hope you get out of it quick. That Dodge is a loaded "Big Boy truck" and looks new. Best of luck with it JC
AndrewM 3500hd dmax 22,900lbs max towing, cummins 3500 31,210 lbs max towing. Dmax has 8 cylinders with 910lb/ft of tourque. The cummins has 6 cylinders with 930lb/ft tourque and has had those number since the 2017 model. Thats almost 42lb/ft more tourque out of each cylinder, wouldnt call it a bitch motor, theres a reason cummins has been around for over a century
*I'd be torn with both of these because the Duramax is a well proven motor and they never have issues with the transmissions like the dodges do but i like the cummins too becasuse they are just as reliable other than their transmissions. All the stuff you were pointing out that you liked about the dodge are options you could just as easily have gotten on a different duramax too. either way you can't go too far wrong with which ever one you chose. I like the over all look of the dodge better.though i'm not a fan of the dually on any of those trucks. i know they have a place and help with towing i'm just not a fan 4 wheel drive or not*
i prefer a dually for towing. 2 more tires give me more traction and stability. i have never been a fan of the dodge trucks...but that is what i have to buy if i wasnt a factory installed cummins in a 1 ton.
'which truck would you tow with' - black truck - no brainier...the Dodge has some good features that l like & l actually drive an 08' half ton short bed Ram l got new for half price - cash...l've towed with vehicles that had a narrow steering axle & wider drive axle & it's easier for the trailer to push the tractor around with this setup especially in a 'situation'...towing vehicles with the same width steering as drive gave me more control/options should a 'situation' arise...& down here - it's gonna happen...far as resale goes...l have an 02' Harley Fatboy too...l have 3 times as much money in the Dodge as l do the Harley - but the Harley is worth more...& it's 6 yrs older - go figure
i have never been a fan of dodge. however if you want a factory installed cummins this is the only choice. the engine is the only reason i bought that truck. on the flip side, the engine is the only reason i want to sell off the gmc! half ton trucks depreciate almost as fast as cars around here. the 3/4 and 1 tons seem to hold better value. harley's hold good value here also. i dont have one but if i did it would be a fat boy. wide and low to the ground just like me!
i know...i have been corrected on that about 20 times so far. i should have redone the video but i had already been interrupted 4 times with phone calls.
I wouldn’t buy a duramax. The LS engines are great but the diesel is complicated when you’ve adapted to fords. Cummins are pretty straight forward props to them
Diesel Jim I would agree with you on the Cummins..... but the Ford diesels are as complicated if not more complicated than the Duramax !!! The six seven actually has two cooling systems talk about engineering Overkill and complication!!! Just take a walk into any Ford dealership that Services trucks on any given day I guarantee you ,you will find Ford diesel pickups with the Cabs ripped off!!!
J Patt most of the repairs are due to bad ownership. People bash fords for having the problems they do but they should remember duramax had a pretty shitty past Aswell.
Diesel Jim agreed no manufacturer makes a perfect anything..... I can only speak for my personal experience and what I've dealt with I've had piss poor luck with anything I've purchased from Ford .... As far as the Duramax problems I know that early on there was some head gasket problems and the injectors were difficult to replace but once the LLY came out in late 04 the injectors were a simple replacement however they still had injector problems I've personally just been very lucky with the four Duramaxes I've owned, I've only had to replace two injectors the failures on the Ford 6.0 and 6.4 l are catastrophic failures with the injector problems and major head gasket and EGR problems very expensive fixes on the Fords the Duramax I've had to replace some EGR valves but it was a simple repair I'm not trying to create a pissing contest just a discussion! Everyone's had different experiences.
Diesel Jim I have to say I also highly disagree on the bad ownership reasoning however I'm sure it is a problem at times the 6.4 liter diesel was such a bad motor that it only ran for between 1 and 2 production years and then they dropped it maybe I guess if every single person who bought that engine was a bad owner!!! The basic engine platform for the Duramax has been running for 18 years yes it's had some changes and updates but the block is still used now!!!!
J Patt I will admit, the 6.4 was a throw away engine and was just a mistake. Navistar was fucking ford pretty good with the engines being prone to failure (when owners don’t keep up with maintenance), or on the 6.4 it was luck if it would be ok. That’s good for duramax, but nobody ever uses them for work. I’ve seen few. Ford and cummins run the game
Nice truck brother you sure come up with some great deals. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks. This Ohio weather hot today snow tomorrow or warm day and freezing rain just to unpredictable. Great state to be a doctor glad my wife works for one. I have just one question what do you use to steam clean with??
my wife has a small machine that she uses. we have had it for years. i dont know brand it is but it works very well. i spend a lot of time searching the internet when the weather is crappy. i have found some killer deals on trucks in the winter months.
I was just wondering about the steam cleaner. I think I would be better off getting one instead of having someone else do it for me. I guess that makes sense peaple trying to get rid of stuff during tax time and just having them set around.
I gotta say that the Cummins are heirloom quality, multi million mile engines of you take care of them. Same can be said for the 7.3 powerstroke. It's the body of the Dodge that's disposable. But GM trucks don't have the suspension to be used as serious work trucks. That being said, I live in a place where I see a lot of old and wealthy people who love their duramax because they are quiet and comfortable. They are for Sunday drives with a horse trailer, not for running loads of cattle to market.
Nice truck! Isn't that button at 7:16 the exhaust brake, and not a regen button? Do you ever come across any Freightliner M2s? Seems like you have had just about everything else except one! The M2 my personal favorite trucks to drive.
it is the exhaust brake...that was my mistake. i have not owned a m2 because so many of them come with the Mercedes engine...i am not a fan of those....or the cat acerts either.
That's interesting! Most people I have met love the MBE906, but I guess its just like the Duramax and not something you are use to! I can definitely understand not liking the Cat C7 though, especially up where it is colder. I have only driven an M2 with the Cummins 6.7, so maybe that why I like it! It felt very different driving compared to the Durastar with the Cummins. And definitely different than one with a MaxxForce DT.
maxxforce...ugg. we call those yard art....horrible engines for us...the maxx force 7 and 9 is why international started offering the 6.7 cummins in the mediums...4000 series trucks. they were losing so much of the market share after all the maxxforce catastrophic failures that they went to cummins to bail them out.
In the video where you introduced the GMC, I wondered how long you'd keep it. Well, you've beaten my lowest estimate by months! I recall your description of Dodg, er Ram trucks, I guess you are flexible in what trucks you'll consider and even buy. You say that you've found the perfect truck to get, if the price is right. Is it a Ford? They don't come with Cummins engines or a manual! Does Ford allow a manual in the heavy weight (F250, F350, etc.) trucks still? If it works out, I'll be interested to see it.
i am not a fan of the isuzu engine, or the ram trucks. i do like a cummins. it is unfortunate that they ship the cummins in such a crappy box. ford no longer offers a manual transmission in the f250/f350/f450/f550 from 2011 to current. the ideal truck would be built by me and not bought.
So it sounds like you just bought the wrong truck first? They’re both awesome trucks though! I work for GM but I’d say the Cummins are easier to work on, and also slightly better ride!
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS I’ve had the dodge cummins 5.9, ford power stroke 7.3 and a few duramax Chevys. My personal preference is the duaramax my second would be the Cummins 5.9. I’m just looking at the Over all end results for what truck I’d keep. The gmc being a can and chassis you’d have to go with a aftermarket bed and I always find a factory stock bed looks so much better. A really nice CM bed will cost 6500 but you’ll still only have a work truck. Anything you put on the bed you’d have to strap down where the dodge with the factory bed is going to look better, you can stick a nice toolbox in the bed if need be but at the same time use it as a personal/work truck. If I had them side by side I’d definitely pick the dodge.
Ram all day long ... plus ... easier on the eyes! Mine is a 95 12 valve so I can fix it! LOL Oh yea ... I wouldn't run that tuner on 4 very much ... that auto tranny may have a fit! Just sayin'
i dont like to beat on anything, so i will run the tuner on the fuel economy and tow tune. i would never had put it on myself, but since it is there i will use it like a mature sensible adult who wants his truck to last!
well...if you want a 1 ton with a factory installed cummins, you have no other options....and that is the nicest way i can explain how i feel about the ram line. everybody likes what they like for whatever reason....i like ford. before too long i am sure i will own a ford with a cummins and a manual transmission. that is ideal to me!
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS I’m just ribbing you a bit. I built Dodge products for 25 years and always owned them because of employee pricing. I am with you if they would have Ford with Cummins engines that would be the perfect truck. I enjoy all your videos. Keep them coming....and make sure you hang on to your wife. :)
Can you give us a few reasons why you dislike 'IsuzuMax", MB diesels and most CATs? Is there anything else? I think I forgot one. 8-) Besides being less familiar with them, I expect they break down too frequently and their layout is tough to work on. Hey, this sounds like a topic for a short video! There Will be a lot of flames in the comments, so stick to the facts. 8-))
Ford Power Stroke and expensive parts that get replaced frequently (a negative). That's what I forgot. Navistar makes it. Is that the company behind International? I know they are behind some larger truck / tractor companies.
i dont care for the isuzumax for several reasons. it is design by isuzu. it requires tools that i do not have to work on them. i do not have the knowledge or experience to confidently repair them. from what i have seen i think they are an overly complicated engine with horrible wiring methods and harness' on the medium duty truck. i have chased down multiple wiring issues with the ones i have. when you are use to how one manufacturer does things, you begin to compare every one you come in contact with to that manufacturer. the md and the acert cats can be very problematic engines. i am not a rich man and having to replace a $12,000. engine would break the bank!
international / navistar one one. international does not make the powerstroke engine for ford after 2010. 2011 and newer ford powerstrokes are for design and built.
if that were only true.....they all break...pick the one you like the best and run with it. for me the cummins engine is my choice....not the dodge truck.
In a perfect world a pre-emission 3rd Gen ram with a Allison Automatic, however today I wish Ram would bring back a the NV5600 and I could deal with the emissions and the 6.7 Cummings, I miss my 04 Dodge 3500 5.9 600 Cummings and the NV5600 but 270,000 miles ran grate,
Why did you buy it if you don’t know how to fix it yourself you just spent your money on something that you should have let someone else buy so you screwed your self over you could have used the money for something else instead
It was a good deal. i am positive i could fix any problem that came up this truck. this isnt my first rodeo....i didnt screw myself. i sold this truck just days after this video for more than i had invested.
Only a fool wouldnt try ford, gm and ram diesel trucks before he decides what is the best fit for his situation. even tho i dont like isuzumax engines, i hauled the same loads with it as i did with the ford and the ram. i absolutely hate ram trucks but they have the best diesel for me.....i love ford trucks but they dont do as well for me as the cummins in the ram.
it would be foolish of me to think that one truck is the best for me without at least trying the others....would you think?? i tried to like it and be biased...in the end the cummins won......much better suit for me.
Trying it does not mean that you have to buy it first. Rent, borrow, test drive. It did everything you wanted performance-wise but it was a duramax. It was always going to be a duramax. It could be nothing else. The logic fails. It is merely subjective.
there is no where around here to "rent or borrow" a truck like this around me. a test drive is not going to tell whether it will do what i want and how well. i bought it, put a gooseneck hitch on it and towed a trailer with a 7500lbs truck on it for a few hundred miles. that is the best way for me to make a decision. i chose to buy it...you do whatever suits you. it didnt cost me a dime to do it my way.
I never understood why GMC/CHEV stuck the dang DEF tank under the passengers side front door, it just sticks out like a sore thumb IMHO.... hate that..still do. A Ram , okay wasnt expecting that one from one end of the spectrum to the other with the big 3. The body looks good on your and it looks pretty well cared for, my only hesitation when it comes to Dodge/Ram trucks is the paint problems the trucks seem to have where they seem to rust a lot quicker than the Chev /GMC / Ford's do, not sure why they have that issue if it is a production issue or what and the second thing is the transmission issues some of them have, I had one that went thru two transmissions and after the second time, out the door the truck went, got to the point where I was getting afraid to tow with it...lol Now for all I know they have soldved those two issues, butI have been a little shy after teh transmission about the Dodge Ram trucks, just my opinion on my experience though, but for a 2011 it looks like it is great shape, dont know if you mentioned what the mileage was . Dont think you will have a problem moving the Duramax, lots of guys like getting a hold of the fleet ones because half the time the trucks were dealer serviced under warranty and a lot of fleet op's tend to divest the trucks just before or soon after the warranty is up, because they dont want to deal with any issue out of warranty, and to them it's just iron to do the job and then out with the old and in with the new, so you should be able to sell that fairly easy I would think. Mrs JC might be wishing for warmer weather so your not buying as many trucks.... kidding of course. If your wife ever decides to go into the detailing business she is going to make a killing she does a real nice job
she really enjoys cleaning my trucks...i dont know why but she does. i hated the def tank hanging there also...it looks like an afterthought. i have a guy coming to look at the gmc today. once the miles get high enough on the ram i have full intensions of sending it to a reputable trans shop and have them do their "towing rebuild". i would have prefered a manual but this was in the budget. the one the guy called me about is as nice as he says...it looks like i may have two of them.
Well what worries me about the GMC/Chev def tank location under that passenger side is it sticks out like a sore thumb the other thing is I would be scared as heel if I had to go off road with that tank being so low and it taking a serious hit if it it hit a rock or you hit some rutty back road. I dont do a lot of off road, but I dont have to worry about that in the Ford, cause the def tank is up and tucked away. Well when you go for a good trip in the Ram you will have to let us know how she does, like the silver though, have that colour in one of my SD's. I dont think you will have a problem getting the Durmax sold, guys are always looking for good fleet maintained diesels. Good luck with the potential sale
your wife does a remarkable job, cleaning those cabs!

Hands down the Cummins.
I love the gm J.C 👍
i prefer the ram....we will see if i made the right choice!
The GMC but I have always been a GM fan..

J.C. SMITH PROJECTS ✌️🇺🇸👍
I’d prefer the duramax if it had 4wd, Aluminum wheels, and the bed, since it has the Allison. But in this case the ram is much better

Good video
Jaco Swanepoel because it’s a joint venture between Gm and Isuzu I’ve been around duramax and I’ve blown the heads clean off. I’ll stay with tried and true Cummins
The bottom on the dash in the ram is for the exhaust brake
Only choice is the Cummings.

all it needs is a peterbilt low leaf air ride suspension!!!!
Perfect spring project for you......that truck would be SWEET! Remember.....great trucks are built.....not bought.
you are right....think of the story that goes with that f550!
I agree with building the 550.
Bowtie
The button next to the tow/haul button you pointed to is actually an engine brake instead of a Regen button. Great video!
yes i know, i mispoke. i had been interupted several times while making the video and was trying to hurry through....i do say the wrong thing a lot tho.
@@j.c.smithprojects I test drove a regular cab with same 6.7 but was manual and the exhaust brake would almost throw you thru the windshield 1st,2nd,3rd was a hell of a truck
I like the dodge!
i like the cummins....not the box it is shipped in!
Powerstroke
I'll take the Cummings in the GMC
Neither I heard bad things about both my buddy got a 13 ram Cummins In 50k he has blown 2 transmissions used it as a plow truck good vid
all trucks have their weak points...my thoughts are that a person should buy what they are comfortable with.
Good video like it that thanks for sharing
hey russ! i am looking at a couple trucks in rogers area right now! i think that is in your back yard!
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS yes it is not too far love them trucks do like them just never could afford to get one
i think we are all in the same boat. it is all in what you want....i live in a small house, i dont take vacations and i am very careful with money...after living like this for a long time...i can finally afford to buy a nice truck...of course they are both used, which is just fine with me!
You know your trucks.
I've seen a million videos of people putting a Cummins in gm and Ford's but I haven't seen any putting power stroke or duramax in place of a Cummins.
Cummins my wife has a Duramax I have a cummins I can out tow better fuel mileage everything except comfort the cummins runs circles around the chevy
Cummins is a wonderful engine, build the drivetrain to suit and you got a truck. I have heard awful things about the transmissions.
you are right the transmission is one of the several weak links in this truck.
Nice truck JC! That is not the regen button, that is a engine brake button, technically a turbo brake.
thanks mattew...i should have paid closer attention i was frustrated as i had been interrupted with 4 phone calls while i was trying to make this video...my mistake.
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS understand sir, you're a pretty smart fella so I figured it was just a simple mistake, add the interruptions and there you have it. No worries.
Apples and oranges, but I am a GM guy
I've had plenty of gm and Ford trucks but in this case I'd probably take the dodge, I never cared for that generation of gm and if you are going gm I'd want the Denali package as I have on my 06, incredibly comfortable for those long days on the road.
I call the duramax a duradiper
Nice Ram get you some Weather tech lazer mats for the front of it.
We have them in the wife's new Honda and the boy's F150, their a life saver in all the mud and nastiness we're having down here this year.
i thought about getting those. i havent priced them yet...i expect it will be a few shiny pennies!
nice trucks
thank you.
Good for you, both beautiful trucks but, you know what you want.
That GMC won't last long, someone will be thrilled to have it, hope you get out of it quick.
That Dodge is a loaded "Big Boy truck" and looks new.
Best of luck with it JC
thanks doug...i think the ram will suit me better. i think the gmc will be easy to get my money out of. the ram is in pretty good shape.
Hi sir I hope you enjoy it in good health. I like the two tone interior of the Dodge
its ironic that the two tone interior is one of the things that i didnt care for in the ram. to each their of course...i just found it amusing!
Duramax! None of that 6 cylinder crap!
AndrewM that 6 cylinder crap out tows your dmax by about 5 shit tons
Bob Goat Nah! Get a big boy motor, Sixes are for bitches...
AndrewM look up the numbers bud
AndrewM 3500hd dmax 22,900lbs max towing, cummins 3500 31,210 lbs max towing. Dmax has 8 cylinders with 910lb/ft of tourque. The cummins has 6 cylinders with 930lb/ft tourque and has had those number since the 2017 model. Thats almost 42lb/ft more tourque out of each cylinder, wouldnt call it a bitch motor, theres a reason cummins has been around for over a century
Correction, 99 years.
Somebody will be happy in that GMC.
it should make someone a great truck.
It's all about how long u want to keep it i6 engines will last longer than a v8 along with 2wd will run longer than 4wd
Nice!
Jesus, you have too much money
The dog I like Big Dog
well we will see how it does doug. if id does what i need it to...then it is a keeper. if it dont, then down the road it goes!
First question, do I own both?
If yes, then yes, those are the 2 trucks I would tow with...
What does it mean to delete it does it mean to like erase the memory of the truck or so the touch screen doesn’t work?
'which truck would you tow with' - black truck - no brainier...the Dodge has some good features that l like & l actually drive an 08' half ton short bed Ram l got new for half price - cash...l've towed with vehicles that had a narrow steering axle & wider drive axle & it's easier for the trailer to push the tractor around with this setup especially in a 'situation'...towing vehicles with the same width steering as drive gave me more control/options should a 'situation' arise...& down here - it's gonna happen...far as resale goes...l have an 02' Harley Fatboy too...l have 3 times as much money in the Dodge as l do the Harley - but the Harley is worth more...& it's 6 yrs older - go figure
i have never been a fan of dodge. however if you want a factory installed cummins this is the only choice. the engine is the only reason i bought that truck. on the flip side, the engine is the only reason i want to sell off the gmc! half ton trucks depreciate almost as fast as cars around here. the 3/4 and 1 tons seem to hold better value. harley's hold good value here also. i dont have one but if i did it would be a fat boy. wide and low to the ground just like me!
on the ram that's not a re-gen button, that's your exhaust brake
i know...i have been corrected on that about 20 times so far. i should have redone the video but i had already been interrupted 4 times with phone calls.
Nice Dodge.
Your wife did a great job.👍 cleaning in side.
Love the dodge.. great truck..
thanks carlton. i hope you and your mother are doing better.
Cummins is a good motor, but Dodge transmissions suck!
The only Duramax I like is a LBZ
Aisen or 68rfe trans ? The rear diff cover is finned aluminum on aisen trans trucks and no def on ram til 2013
so it comes down to the point of you don't like it because it doesn't have a disposable throw away motor
i dont know what you mean. have you compared a rebuild cost of a isuzu to a cummins? i will take the cummins any day over the isuzu.
I'm not a gym guy at all I'm a ford guy bet I do love those Cummings so I would Ho with the dodge
i chose the dodge.
Yeah and I meant gm not gym
V8 > I6, choice is easy for me.
I would like to know more on how your wife steam cleans the interiors on your trucks and what type of steamer. Thanks
i dont know what the machine is but it sure does a nice job.
it’s an exhaust brake
Has nothing to do with ram or gmc nor cummins vs duramax.
We have problems with people towing on the manual in 6th cause the standard atf that’s not enough lube as gear oil
i was not aware there was such a problem...but then again i usually run fords.
Dodge
Peterbuilt....lol
That button is not a regeneration it’s a exhaust break.
i know i mispoke. i should have just redone the video...many many people have made that same comment.
Did Ram put a manual shift transmission in there trucks when they went to the 6.7?
CE Smith yes you can still buy one with a 6 speed manual.
yes they did!
So it sounds like you just bought the wrong truck first? They’re both awesome trucks though! I work for GM but I’d say the Cummins are easier to work on, and also slightly better ride!
you are right the dodge is easier to work on and the ride is far better.
What about a ford
As much as I regret to say this, I’d go with the dodge. You have 4wd a bed already and a more luxurious truck. I’d sell the gmc. 😔
i know how hard that was for you to say bobby...i felt like i was letting down "daboss"! a guy is coming to look at the gmc today.
LOL
Oh yea ...
You would not ever sell me on a dodge I have nothing good to say about dodge I'd rather have a flintstone car then that
Glad to finally see a Dodge/Ram on your channel. Welcome to the world of Mopar.
well...if you want a 1 ton with a factory installed cummins, you have no other options....and that is the nicest way i can explain how i feel about the ram line. everybody likes what they like for whatever reason....i like ford. before too long i am sure i will own a ford with a cummins and a manual transmission. that is ideal to me!
Ive towed with both. I prefer the Cummins. I wouldnt buy a duramax to use as a boat anchor.
I dont understand the meaning of "deleted" ?
It seems like you have already on which truck you will keep
Cummings by far the only issue is its a dodge but can't beat a cummings
Cummins.
There’s the difference between dodge and gm with gm you won’t be on the side of the road having to fix it
if that were only true.....they all break...pick the one you like the best and run with it. for me the cummins engine is my choice....not the dodge truck.
Hay i get you its not a dodge why settle.
You don't like Duramax why did you buy it!
Both of these trucks are great...the Dodge has the Cummins... weakness is the package it's in,no motor out there imo is more reliable
best motor in the worst shipping container!
So why did you buy it? You can't buy a chevy without a duramax.
it would be foolish of me to think that one truck is the best for me without at least trying the others....would you think?? i tried to like it and be biased...in the end the cummins won......much better suit for me.
You selling the GMC?
i sold it the day after i put up this video....fist guy to look at it bought it.
Neither
I’ll buy the gmc if you wanna sell it
sorry fred! it just left. the first guy to look at it bought it!
The dodge by far. Duramax head gasket issues, about 200k they are done. Duramax iron block alum heads. Not good for long term
Neither is a Ford....Nuff said..
yikes!!! i am in trouble here!
