My dear brothers and sisters, the joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives. Can I just say that I was a habitual relapsing drug addict for 22 years and almost 3 years ago after being sober for two days I was invited to have the missionaries over in my home. I knew nothing about the church but desperately needed help every church I had ever been to did not help me learn the structure that the LDS church taught me. After meeting with those missionaries I knew there was truth at this church and I knew I had to find it. After being almost a three-year convert I can honestly say I do not know the book of Mormon is true but I believe it is. I have two videos on my page at the bottom of my videos list where I have shared my testimony and spoken at the new converts devotional two times. My husband is also a New convert and he is also a recovering addict. It is so easy to judge something that we don’t understand and that is exactly what I did every time he tried to talk about the LDS church. He would get emotional every time he would talk about Joseph Smith and how Joseph believed and everything he was doing and how he pretty much gave up his life to save his people from more persecution. And in my husbands eyes that was honorable. Once I started investigating and asked God to be my guide I learned that everything I have been through is preparing me to be in this place at this point in time. Other people were baptized when I spoke at the new converts devotional. Knowing that my story could help others urges me to share it even more. Share your testimony do not be afraid because someone needs to hear it!
Wow what a great testimony! Thank you thank you for taking the time to put your testimony where the whole world can read it. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has totally changed my life also. This is truly the church led by Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was chosen just like any other prophet. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and all of the inspired scriptures and Leadership of this church. Joseph Smith had a awesome responsibility to be able to organize this Church no matter what. But we have the great and spacious building complains about the church and the Saints of the Lord. Many people have attacked this great church even members of the church that have fallen through the cracks, even in the early days during the time of Joseph Smith . They have written a lot of untrue things, this is their opinion, only truth matters. Your testimony has brought tears to my eyes and gratefulness to my heart. Satan knows his time is getting shorter and shorter . If Satan cannot only one person down oh, he knows he can take 10 or 20 more people down also. Please continue to strengthen your testimony because this ride is going to be very rough in the future. I am so grateful we have a prophet and apostles to lead us through this hard times coming. I only wish the other churches would listen to the prophet when he speaks if not we will fall through the cracks and be sifted just as wheat flower. We all must learn to listen to the inspired inspiration that comes to each of us daily. And the future we will depend on this inspiration daily . I can promise that Non-Stop repentance with scripture study and daily prayer will help us think more clearly. The longer we keep the savior next to us even every hour your thinking will change for the better and be able to hear the whisperings of the Holy Ghost leading and guiding us. The spirit may say, call a friend or go see someone that may be in need of a few kind words or you need to get groceries or gas now. Do not ignore these promptings. Of course you will be tempted to do ungodly things but stop when that happens. This is not Heavenly inspiration. Just a friendly reminder once we leave this world, this world will mean nothing except the things we did for the Lord and our families and others. One thing I can promise you is if you have a constant prayer, kind of like when you are doing your daily activity. You see someone with physical challenges, say a little prayer for them or a mother or father in need, pray for them. If you do this you will stop a lot of negative and doubt that comes to your mind, it will be replaced with the spirit of God and gratefulness! This is called free will. Thank you again for your testimony. I hope and pray, you will be patient. Seek the truth constantly this is a must. We all have questions, everything of the Lord takes time. After you know truth, you can never deny truth ever just as Joseph Smith. Seek truth and your wisdom will grow beyond your understanding in the future. We have so much to learn. Listen and read listen to these conference talks. Everytime I really listen to these great words of wisdom, my heart is pierced with something new I've been seeking for years. I guess the first time I heard it I was not ready until I heard it the second time. I hunger for truth and understanding the mysteries of the Lord.
I'm VERY GRATEFUL to have our leaders inspired to our needs temporally and spiritually, and came out of the whole conference with a few new minor goals which should bring that stronger reinforcement to my soul. Lets continue praying for the health, safety, direction, and inspiration of our men and women leaders and their families.

Heed His teachings: listen for: Pure truth. Pure doctrine of Christ. Pure revelation Christ Changes the life of everyone that understands and implements it in their life. Revelation has been given this conference, ask God to open your soul to find answers God has given. Participate in His Holy Work. Seek greater light knowledge and truth.

I was just a couple weeks into my marriage during this conference weekend from 2021 and I could already see the marriage would not last. It was heartbreaking.
If we only knew the heart of other people, would we judge the same way. Judgment and speculation both are in the destruction category. If we do not judge others for their activities, we can't have a opinion for what they have done. We can't even get mad at them because we don't know their heart. We can speculate all day long and tomorrow be speculating. Judgment causes too many hard feelings also hatred for the saying someone else has said. If we could read the thoughts like the Lord that would be different. We were not given this gift because it would shorten our lifespan. To see the heartache and pain and Society. I believe it is in our best interest if we do not bring up negative feelings towards someone that has messed up in their lives. God is not a one-sided God he includes you and you should include Him. Take a test today and tomorrow. Go to work and do your best not to judge or have a opinion towards anyone that works there or near there. Now this is a hard test not to judge, we should never engage in. We will be judged more harshly then those that committed the ACT. I learned when driving a truck from coast to coast, you would never know what the other driver's intentions were going to be. Don't get mad and have a heart attack or blood pressure problems. Keep a civil tongue in your mouth, so you don't have to wash it out with soap that evening. Just a friendly reminder and thanks for your comments.
The speech of Jeffrey R Holland was touching me very strong. In the past 4 years let's say even the last 7 years I asking myself wich plans does the lord got for me and got the question why he tooked away my mother 7 years ago why I had to suffer the Loss of my mother in the age of 19? And 3 years later 2hy I got diagnosed with hearth problems and renal insufficiency my live changed hardly I found my way back to the lord cause I left it after the dead of my mother. And then 5hen I had to burry my dad in 2020 after he died in my arms by an heart attack. Tbh at that point I was completely lost and felt like to commit suicide. The point after being diagnosed in the last stadium of renal insufficiency 2022 (I am 26)I don't know how much I can carry anymore and how much strength I have left to fight against the renal insufficiency and how much time do I have on this wonderful earth. But I've learned now from the speech of elder Holland
Thank you Brandon for sharing these things. Your words will help others in many different circumstance. We need yours help and strength and help others so please whatever you do don't ever take your life. You are too important to the Lord and US and everyone that reads your words. We all lose loved ones even to us it is too early. I have many great friends I have lost in life because of suicide and I still pray for them and loves them. If we only knew the Lord's plan for each of us this would soothe our souls and bring joy. Does the word can't do that because it would interfere with our choice. It will takes a lot of heartfelt prayers to understand what is going on in our lives. Be grateful if you can for these times of growth. All I can say prayer has helped me, please be patient and the mysteries of heaven will help you understand. Listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. Always look for truth and nothing else when it comes to the Lord's blessings. You see we can speculate and judge all day long and tomorrow too. Speculating won't solve anything. True repentance brings happiness enjoy. Many times you will have to make yourself read the scriptures and pray daily. Reading the scriptures bring strength from the heavens above. Keep listening to these wonderful inspirational talks and write down things that come to your mind, even the things that help. This is a training exercise to help you understand truth when you hear it. This is not all, listening to the face-to-face with elder Bednar and other apostles answers so many questions we almost have. Don't try to understand things that is not in your hands. The Lord said my yoke is easy only because he wants each of us to give him the load of life we all try to carry and also thinking we are in charge and we are not. The heavens and the Earth was created and it took a lot of time to do it all and it is still being formed of world's with no end like our own little world. This is only a friendly reminder and stop carrying such a heavy load if you can. Give it all to the Lord. This will take Faith and devotion on your part. Haven't you heard the poem Footsteps in the sand. This poem brings tears to my eyes and a humble heart. If you have not read it , I would highly advise you to read it. We will get more inspirational talks this conference in the spring and in the future. Later we will depend on this inspiration from the spirit of the Lord everyday even in the future. Most of my prayers include those who want to take their own lives. Asking for Heavenly help for everyone that might think this way. Life gets much better every year. My prayer for you and others, please hold on for one more day! Holding on for one more day can lead to weeks months and years! Staying close to the Lord is your only hope and safety net! Love you all. Go and sin no more like Jesus said!
Oh Brandon Jeffrey R Holland has a excellent talk on Mental Health. I think it is in that category, unless that is the one you're talking about but you have to listen to it more than once. I think I have heard it like four times or more. Each time I hear it, I learned so much more.
You wonder if their education interferes with their understanding. We could speculate all day and never come up with the right answer so just have to pray for them. God knows!

Conferences are held the first wknds of April and October as a gathering of the church as a whole. The first presidency and apostles travel around the world daily to teach at area gathering's in every free country as well as currently closed nation's. A few years ago a surprise totally unexpected in many Islam countries had opened the doors to the church and the building of temples and missionary work. You could have hit the entirety of the church with a meteor and it would have come as less a surprise. See you in October, but check out what's doing in your neighborhood. Hey i know everything u read online probably isnt true but I was a lds member like yourself. Im going to just go and say that this church caused me so much pain in my life. Theyve made me go through all the synonyms for pain but not the worst which is who knows. You say its not possibke but i went through it the churches god and disciples
Adversity and suffering sometimes are painful seeds however they help us have discernment and gives us room to grow through difficult and uncomfortable times in our lives the one thing you need to remember is you are still a child of God and He does love you
the attendance is probably down right now because they feel like me- belittled and alone regarding membership in the Church right now because I don't want to follow Blackrock and Vangaurd to the grave and don't want to go to to church to find my main purpose as a member is to support these companies and their plandemics to help their own profits go up
Over here in the UK our chapels are open but we need to tell Bishop if attending as we are being safe as our chapels are smaller than the USA and still need to be wise with social distancing.. However ppl so have sacrament at home but anyone attending church will be wearing a mask at all times
There are many ways that adversary come pull people away from the church and it takes faith and the knowledge that people are not perfect to understand Grace forgiveness and those things that we do not understand at this time so please remember the many weapons that the adversary has and how he chooses to use these things during the latter days and remember to ask in prayer for those things that will help with wisdom and knowledge of those things that are right for you

Missionaries work with a companion of the same gender during their mission, with the exception of couples, who work with their spouse. Just a friendly reminder once we leave this world, this world will mean nothing except the things we did for the Lord and our families and others. One thing I can promise you is if you have a constant prayer, kind of like when you are doing your daily activity. You see someone with physical challenges, say a little prayer for them or a mother or father in need, pray for them. If you do this you will stop a lot of negative and doubt that comes to your mind, it will be replaced with the spirit of God and gratefulness! This is called free will. Thank you again for your testimony. I hope and pray, you will be patient. Seek the truth constantly this is a must. We all have questions, everything of the Lord takes time. After you know truth, you can never deny truth ever just as Joseph Smith. Seek truth and your wisdom will grow beyond your understanding in the future. We have so much to learn. Listen and read listen to these conference talks. Everytime I really listen to these great words of wisdom, my heart is pierced with something new I've been seeking for years. I guess the first time I heard it I was not ready until I heard it the second time. I hunger for truth and understanding the mysteries of the Lord.
So thankful for the inspired words spoken during this life-changing conference!

I'm VERY GRATEFUL to have our leaders inspired to our needs temporally and spiritually, and came out of the whole conference with a few new minor goals which should bring that stronger reinforcement to my soul.

I was just a couple weeks into my marriage during this conference weekend from 2021 and I could already see the marriage would not last. It was heartbreaking.
This is a pertinent message in our day as satan's work is intensified and the temptation is great I give myself to go to use me
I don't agree with all of the doctrine but it is still the best I know of.

If we only knew the heart of other people, would we judge the same way. Judgment and speculation both are in the destruction category. If we do not judge others for their activities, we can't have a opinion for what they have done. We can't even get mad at them because we don't know their heart. We can speculate all day long and tomorrow be speculating. Judgment causes too many hard feelings also hatred for the saying someone else has said. If we could read the thoughts like the Lord that would be different. We were not given this gift because it would shorten our lifespan. To see the heartache and pain and Society. I believe it is in our best interest if we do not bring up negative feelings towards someone that has messed up in their lives. God is not a one-sided God he includes you and you should include Him. Take a test today and tomorrow. Go to work and do your best not to judge or have a opinion towards anyone that works there or near there. Now this is a hard test not to judge, we should never engage in. We will be judged more harshly then those that committed the ACT. I learned when driving a truck from coast to coast, you would never know what the other driver's intentions were going to be. Don't get mad and have a heart attack or blood pressure problems. Keep a civil tongue in your mouth, so you don't have to wash it out with soap that evening. Just a friendly reminder and thanks for your comments.

In the past 4 years let's say even the last 7 years I asking myself wich plans does the lord got for me and got the question why he tooked away my mother 7 years ago why I had to suffer the Loss of my mother in the age of 19? And 3 years later 2hy I got diagnosed with hearth problems and renal insufficiency my live changed hardly I found my way back to the lord cause I left it after the dead of my mother. And then 5hen I had to burry my dad in 2020 after he died in my arms by an heart attack. Tbh at that point I was completely lost and felt like to commit suicide. The point after being diagnosed in the last stadium of renal insufficiency 2022 (I am 26)I don't know how much I can carry anymore and how much strength I have left to fight against the renal insufficiency and how much time do I have on this wonderful earth. But I've learned now from the speech of elder Holland
Thank you Brandon for sharing these things. Your words will help others in many different circumstance. We need yours help and strength and help others so please whatever you do don't ever take your life. You are too important to the Lord and US and everyone that reads your words. We all lose loved ones even to us it is too early. I have many great friends I have lost in life because of suicide and I still pray for them and loves them. If we only knew the Lord's plan for each of us this would soothe our souls and bring joy. Does the word can't do that because it would interfere with our choice. It will takes a lot of heartfelt prayers to understand what is going on in our lives. Be grateful if you can for these times of growth. All I can say prayer has helped me, please be patient and the mysteries of heaven will help you understand. Listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. Always look for truth and nothing else when it comes to the Lord's blessings. You see we can speculate and judge all day long and tomorrow too. Speculating won't solve anything. True repentance brings happiness enjoy. Many times you will have to make yourself read the scriptures and pray daily. Reading the scriptures bring strength from the heavens above. Keep listening to these wonderful inspirational talks and write down things that come to your mind, even the things that help. This is a training exercise to help you understand truth when you hear it. This is not all, listening to the face-to-face with elder Bednar and other apostles answers so many questions we almost have. Don't try to understand things that is not in your hands. The Lord said my yoke is easy only because he wants each of us to give him the load of life we all try to carry and also thinking we are in charge and we are not. The heavens and the Earth was created and it took a lot of time to do it all and it is still being formed of world's with no end like our own little world. This is only a friendly reminder and stop carrying such a heavy load if you can. Give it all to the Lord. This will take Faith and devotion on your part. Haven't you heard the poem Footsteps in the sand. This poem brings tears to my eyes and a humble heart. If you have not read it , I would highly advise you to read it. We will get more inspirational talks this conference in the spring and in the future. Later we will depend on this inspiration from the spirit of the Lord everyday even in the future. Most of my prayers include those who want to take their own lives. Asking for Heavenly help for everyone that might think this way. Life gets much better every year. My prayer for you and others, please hold on for one more day! Holding on for one more day can lead to weeks months and years! Staying close to the Lord is your only hope and safety net! Love you all. Go and sin no more like Jesus said!
Oh Brandon Jeffrey R Holland has a excellent talk on Mental Health. I think it is in that category, unless that is the one you're talking about but you have to listen to it more than once. I think I have heard it like four times or more. Each time I hear it, I learned so much more.

Conferences are held the first wknds of April and October as a gathering of the church as a whole.
The first presidency and apostles travel around the world daily to teach at area gathering's in every free country as well as currently closed nation's.
A few years ago a surprise totally unexpected in many Islam countries had opened the doors to the church and the building of temples and missionary work.
You could have hit the entirety of the church with a meteor and it would have come as less a surprise.

Hey i know everything u read online probably isnt true but I was a lds member like yourself. Im going to just go and say that this church caused me so much pain in my life. Theyve made me go through all the synonyms for pain but not the worst which is who knows. You say its not possibke but i went through it the churches god and disciples
Adversity and suffering sometimes are painful seeds however they help us have discernment and gives us room to grow through difficult and uncomfortable times in our lives the one thing you need to remember is you are still a child of God and He does love you

Over here in the UK our chapels are open but we need to tell Bishop if attending as we are being safe as our chapels are smaller than the USA and still need to be wise with social distancing..

There are many ways that adversary come pull people away from the church and it takes faith and the knowledge that people are not perfect to understand Grace forgiveness and those things that we do not understand at this time so please remember the many weapons that the adversary has and how he chooses to use these things during the latter days and remember to ask in prayer for those things that will help with wisdom and knowledge of those things that are right for you

Thanks for your question, Tessy. Missionaries can be single men between the ages of 18 and 25, single women over the age of 19 (no age limit) or retired couples. Missionaries work with a companion of the same gender during their mission, with the exception of couples, who work with their spouse.
