I've said it before, and I'll say it again ... slower is faster! If the car is a lot to handle, slow it down a little. It feels great to have a lot of speed, but if it causes you to overshoot everything then slow it down. Gotta love you trash talking your own vlog at the beginning there ROFL! Had me almost spit out my mouthful of tea! Great stuff right there.
As far as your run goes, when you tamed your fingers down a little you did a few good laps even with going deeper than your 2wd, so your 4wd definitely is quicker. It's just, maybe, a little too quick for you to handle. That tabletop took you out a few times, even handed you the temptation to cut off a few seconds of a lap. Love how the marshal watched you for the rest of the race when you cut the course that one time, even turning in his seat to see you go onto the straight a few laps ... definitely had an eye on you after that LOL.
Thanks for sharing Paul, good race, tame the fingers and you'll have an even gooder race.
Fhuz out.
My 2wd was too quick for me when I first started but soon killed me going down the straights. I think it is just run time, or at least a lot to do with run time. I am slowly dialing in back with the old finger but I need a little speed for the straights. Its hard this being 4wd Modified class. I wish I could have started in stock class like yourself. In mod class I have to run mod motor or I would simply get eaten alive. I think I shown some improvement this weekend. At the start I was right at the back, and I hope it is only a matter of time before I am up there near the front. It is all aims and objectives at this point. Having fun so that is the main thing. Cheers for tuning in. Just editing 4wd Q4 and man is it a wild one. Keep an eye out and thanks for tuning in Fhuz.
The tangle was completely my fault Paul, sorry bud.
Really enjoy the videos, keep em up 😎👍
No need to apologize mate. I think I tangled with every car around me on the opening lap TBH. 😃
You just need more run time with it Paul I'm sure you will be getting it around the track just like 2wd in no time
Hopefully Will. It sure is an adrenaline rush when I drive this thing. Just need to work on threading it through the track as I go forward. Think I have improved in the few races I have had. Cheers for tuning in Bud.
looks good paul ❤
