There is a hugely popular idea in the fandom that Celestia and Discord were once a couple, pulled apart when Discord took over Equestria and was banished into stone. It's always seemed like at least an interesting idea to me, especially after the whole "Discord giving Celestia flowers and a wink" thing happened in the Season 4 finale that made everyone geek out. And since my girlfriend, Starzy, absolutely loves the DiscordxCelestia ship, I've had a lot of exposure to it in the past, and have come to really like it myself :3
Thus, I dedicate this song to Starzy and all the rest of you Discord & Celestia shippers out there XP shot
The whole song was actually mostly Exiark's idea, and I was pulled into the project rather late in it's development alongside the amazing artist and singer Ckibe. The song was released on Exiark's album "Let there Be Light" last year, and I decided it was high time it got an official UA-cam release :D
Big thanks to everyone who helped put this song and video together! Exiark, Ckibe, Amazing-ArtSong, TheAcleps, you are all so nice and deserve all the hugs ;u;

This is actually the first time I've ever drawn my own cover art for one of my own songs on my channel. I've done art for other people's music & videos occasionally (like Into the Everfree by Synthis / It's About Time, Poni, & Otherwise by 4EverfreeBrony / Show Them All by Metal Core Pony / Broken Tears by Mogul Dash (featuring me) / and DXIndustriesInc's "Generosity PMV") But ironically, I have almost never done art relating to my own music XP I'm thinking of changing that soon though, and maybe even drawing most of my own cover art If I have the time, but I dunno. Let me know what you guys think!

Ahhhh so finally Fritzys drawing skills are revealed! being a DA regular i've seen tons of art of these two and this piece is great! Love the detail put into Celestias ragged look, (detail will always win me over in a review :P) And while Discord has a non-matching cute style I think it works well in the context of him being hurt and rejected so it pulles it off just fine! Would love to see more of your work in the future for sure! keep up the amazing work ^_^
