Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos are such beautiful (green) islands. been there 3 times. once for our honeymoon. Always in shoulder season (End of May, Beginning of June). Great time for travelling there! Thanks for including the map in the beginning! Great footage!
Taking on inexperience crew comes with great responsibilities. But, it is the only way to introduce them to the magic of sailing. Kudos to you Dylan, for presenting to them and us another and different view of the world. You are inspiring. Sailing is always a learning experience.

I really like sailing in the off season although my regular home waters (the Baltic) is pretty cold. Next adventure is bringing my new boat, Olympic 42 Ketch, back from Italy next spring/summer. Can’t wait to sail in the med!
I like that it’s all to yourself seems to me especially with the ruins to be more adventurous discovering a forgotten land good time and always appreciate the history thrown in makes learning about something fun👍👍
You probably have done this already, but I'll say it, just in case: read the works of Alexandros Papadiamantis while you are in the area of Skiathos. I would start from his short stories. Keep sailing and having fun.
How in the world do you stay so muscular, i would imagine that that lifestyle, with all the repairs and the constant moving you dont get time to exercise let alone lift weights or something
@@sodak3907 i disagree. Whether he talks a lot or not is objective, whether it’s too much or not is subjective. I know he can do as he pleases and, for the record, i’ve followed his channel for a long time and i quite like him, in case that needs to be said.

The off, and shoulder seasons should definitely not be overlooked. You get more local vibes in my experience as well as things being more affordable.
