This is the Empire State Building's 2021 Run Up - POV Edition
Best and hardest stair race ever! Those taller than usual steps and long landings are killer, but the views at the top and the NYCRuns finishers medals make the suffering worth it!
8" steps I think - the same as most gym stair machines. I think I'd have to take them one at a time until I got lighter and fitter.

In my “vertical corridor” trajectory, at the age of 81, with more than 6 million steps, 400,000 floors, reaching the top of some of the largest skyscrapers in the world, including the 2,226 steps of “One World Trade Center, NY , a Guinness World Records record holder, is missing the most important and most famous: “The iconic Empire State Building”
To think that it's been three years since I visited this building, and I'm still getting flashbacks from being on top of it!

In Paris, we can not do the same in Montparnasse tower. Lucky guys in NYC. Nothing is better to burn calories. And calories are made to be burned.
I would get super annoyed by the people grabbing both rails like no one else exists in the world.
Holy Cats , I came here because I just read about this in a vintage running book I picked up !! That beautiful blonde at 1:50 totally caught my eye . She was just clipping along like a boss . Looks very interesting I’ll have to watch more l8ter !!
From experienced people who have actually done this , is this comparable to running hills , I would think it’s quite different . I like trail running a lot with the dynamic terrain and hills but this seems like a raw intense climb in tight quarters!!

That was 86 floors, now imagine having to climb Burj Khalifa which is 163 floors, almost double the climb.

I was at 86th floor August 2006 then waiting for my flight back to Sweden, but I tock the elevator up

There is also a secret 103rd floor. Someone posted a video of them going up to it on youtube.
