I've had my weber spirit for 12 years and it stays outside. Only replaced flavorizer bars once and burners after 11 years. The cast aluminum fire box on the weber will last forever. Worth the price
The Monument Grills are impressive, but my Weber Genesis 1000 is almost 30 years old and stays outside too. It still gets to 550 degrees. I have only replaced the Flavor bars, grates, and regulator when the hose dry rotted. So far parts are still available. I also love that the burners run from side to side so I use the back burner for uniform rotisserie cooking. I have to add that today’s Weber’s are not as well made as the old ones.
Can't argue the price. Although not half that of the Weber, it gets pretty close. The one stat we can't evaluate (yet) is the actual longevity of the grill. I see a lot of comments from Weber owners about how long they've had their grill. I'm one as well and have no regerts after 15+ years with my Genesis. I've only replaced the battery-operated igniter. Faced with a purchase today, I'd have to consider the Monument.
Monument is definitely going to be my next grill! I've been buying Weber for 40yrs their build quality is down, and their prices are out of hand! Thanks Tom
I have the Weber 310 spirit that you are showing on this video. I have had it close to eight years and only replaced the flavorizer bars. It is definitely well-made, but when I want to get a replacement, I will definitely look at the monument in your video. Thanks for the video Tom.
Enjoyed the video. I agree Weber is overpriced and there are a lot of less expensive competitors out there. I own several different brand grills/smokers. *The key is if you take care of them, they will last a long time.

Thanks for Watching! I agree the older models were built much better than the new ones. I have a 17 year old Spirit and it is in very good shape.

Thanks for Watching Todd! Appreciate the feedback
Weber will have parts availability and support for 20 years. I trust them every day and get the value from that
Thanks for watching! That to is disappearing as others tell me of unavailability of parts…
Monument Grills are the best bang for the buck. And then some. They are going hard after market share. Great video Tom! Enjoy your weekend 😃😃
Thanks Eric! Enjoy!
One major reason the Weber wins - Cast aluminum firebox. It will not rust. The Monument has enameled steel that will eventually crack and rust.
Thanks for watching Joe! Time will tell…Appreciate the feedback
Definitely are some nice looking grills and definitely affordable! Nice review Tom! Cheers 🍻
Thanks for Watching! They perform very well!

Forget those and buy you a Napoleon.
Weber is junk except the kettle
