i like watching these videos to see how my current new iphone might work in 4 or so years, as i really don't want to upgrade for a long time
I just got my iPhone Xs 256gb gold and for me it's perfect just the battery but I don't use it as much so I can go 2 days without charging it.Not a bad phone.Plus it's my first upgrade from a iPhone 8(64gb).I'm happy with it. Very good phone.

how much does it last?
I feel it is Apples pinnacle. So thin and feels great in the hand. I’m SO sick of the giant raised cameras
Been using my XS since 2019 and watching this video on it too. Just bought the 15 pro max now coming in the mail tomorrow.
I have been using my XS Max for about a year now, i got its battery replaced with a genuine one when i first got it. When 6 months passed by after i replaced the battery, it barely degraded down %1 and its at 99% right now! 💪
But then again, i go all out when it comes to battery saving so i have a black background, disabled background app refresh, and do the 20-80 percent rule so yeah, my battery life has been great so far!
Basically this phone spits out midrange performance, its not fast but its not slow either, I just use it for a little bit of games and scrolling on social media and it holds up pretty well.
Plus the OLED and the P3 wide color screen still makes this phone feel new!
I also agree with the guy in the video on how its a weird phone… honestly if you still have one, just keep it until it gets bad with battery health or you just want the extra performance.

The XS Max in space grey looked more black than space black nowadays. Besides that the XS Max was a great device back then but now on iOS 17 it’s quite slow and laggy. Nonetheless I’m glad to have the 512 GB device in my collection!
You guys never learn! When it's comes to old Apple devices never update to the latest Firmware... You should have stayed on iOS 16 buddy PLUS iPhone XR/XS-max iOS 17 is the latest supported update for these devices anyways so my opinion is keep for a Year at least and then Upgrade to the 13 or 14
@@talebsaad7246 i think you should stay on old ios until most apps are unsupported and only then you can update to extract the most performance out of your phone in the years
The iPhone XS is really the start and end to this new generation of iPhones. It ends the “s” series of iPhone but also alongside the iPhone X starts the wave of notches and camera bulbs on the back
If they slapped the 15pro screen and upgrades in the XS and fit the 3 cameras in, it would be the greatest iPhone in my opinion.

i think iphone se 2020 is the oldest and cheapest iphone i could recommend and the most sense to buy now, the battery life isnt as good and the screen is smaller but the hardware and software support is still a good deal for the price

Another thing. Xs has 12 megapixel camera that indeed looks worse than camera on 11.
But it performs better with low light condition and dark photos.
12 megapixels has 0.6 inch sensor while 48mp is also 0.6 inch sensor. The pixels are 4x smaller and get 4x less light on iphone 11.

My daily driver is the S21. But everything I do is on Macs. Was going to buy one of these used so I can read my Apple News + and listen to my Apple Music. Selling point? The OLED screen is far better than the 720p LCD on the iPhone 11. Night and day. Ya the 11 has a nicer camera. But I'd only use it to view Apple apps I pay for. And it's cost peanuts these days....

I came from a Pixel 6 to an Xs and the Xs if much faster. iOS Runs so smooth. The Display is Great and with a new Battery i got about 6 Hours Screen on Time. By the way i Never make Fotos. Love the Xs

I bet internet related things like facebook etc are slow as heck on this. it won't do any 5G of any kind. LTE is now so slow that any feed buffers. That alone would drive me crazy
