Hi, just wanna ask, coz i ordered this bag online and it arrived yesterday, but i am not sure about the clasp mechanism coz i was expecting that i can press on both of them, but apparently only one clasp mechanism is working- although the bag closes and opens stunningly. Im not just sure if this is a fault or if this is how it s supposed to be. Thank you!! 😊
Hi, Andrew!! Congratulations on your new purchase! Yes, it’s only the one on the left facing the bag that moves (the one on the right serves a support for when you unclasp it) ☺️ Hope this helps! The store where I got mine from only had pieces in the shiny calfskin (at least back then!) so sadly I wasn’t able to compare :( I haven’t been as careful as I should be with mine but no scratches so far (crossing fingers it stays that way 😅) I’d have to say though the strap has a tendency to get wrinkly if stored incorrectly, so to minimise that, I got a stand that lets me prop up the strap while not in use. Shouldn’t be a problem if you plan to use the bag frequently as the movement massages the leather, smoothing out the wrinkles 😊 gorgeous and very useful bag all around though!
This bag is in my Wishlist, I think it's absolutely gorgeous! The only thing that is holding me back is the price point. Do you think this bag is worth over $3000? I'm looking at pre-loved market but it's hard to find the one with good condition. Great review!

But that said, I personally wouldn’t buy it at full price. 😥 was extremely lucky to have come across this piece brand new at 40% off at a local Celine distributor here in the PH; if it hadn’t been for that, I’d have waited for a pre-loved one in a condition and price point I’d be comfortable with. It’s a really beautiful bag, and Celine I think produces really great quality pieces, but the Triomphe’s current retail price is a bit too steep. 😔
Hi! ☺️ thankfully mine has no scratches so far despite rather frequent use (hopefully it’ll stay that way 😅) but it does tend to get hand prints. Also noticed that the strap can get wrinkly if the bag is not stored properly, but “massaging” the leather helps in removing them.
@@HM-pw8it hi! ☺️ I use a bag display stand (the one I use looks like this pin.it/485S7zi) I “wrap” the strap on the wing-looking parts of the stand. Not completely foolproof but I’ve found it to be better than letting the strap rest either unsupported or on the bag itself. ☺️
