A short video I made with clips from the Season Finale of Star Trek Picard Season 3. I do not claim to own any of the content in this footage. All footage is property of CBS Studios.
This video expresses just how much I enjoyed the final episode in what I thought was some of the best writing, direction, acting and cinematography I have seen packed into a single episode that I can even recall, a true testament to the hard work they have done on this series and I cannot begin to appreciate how refreshing it is to see return of the original crew of TNG come together in such a brilliantly fulfilling way.
Star Trek: Picard can be watched online with a Paramount+ or Amazon Prime subscription. And I highly encourage you to do so if you haven't already.

I have to say hands down the one thing I liked seeing during the battle between the Enterprise D and the Borg cube was during that flyby where the Enterprise was firing her weapons and we got to see something that was never seen before during the TNG run and that was seeing the use of the phasers mounted on the fantail near the aft torpedo launcher now that was awesome.
RIGHT?? /actually/ using the weapons she's been given! That fight scene with the Borg was what we'd ALL been waiting for, for her to show off her true potential as a (not) battleship!
And that was with one person firing manually!
Too bad you didn't see that in Picard either, as the drive section was replaced with the Syracuse.
Let history never forget the name Enterprise 🖖
ST:TNG'S has always been the very best of Star Trek for me, , so this is 100% awesome.
I have always loved that every since the Enterprise series, that the Enterprise herself has started really becoming the "i didnt hear no bell" ship.
Yes we got a little of thwt in the TMP and TNG era films, but since Enterprise each time either the NX01 or 1701 returned they would get to be the ship that just doesnt give up until the job is done, and now the D had the opportunity to do just the same.
Best intro ever , this is what I talkn bout , wow man thanks for taking the time to make this , this is the Enterprise D at some of her best moments ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The big D looks so good with modern CGI. I've loved this ship since I was 5 in 1987, never thought she'd look this good though
I've loved this ship since I was around the same age in the mid-90s. You never forget your first Enterprise.
I'm gonna be honest with you about TOS. I was scared to death TOS Enterprise as a kid. And that warp drive noise it made ( but it grew on me thanks in part to the Animated Series ) But I really think had I seen TNG as a kid I would have liked D just fine. Now all the ST ships are favorites
Holy shi*! Why did this only enter my feed today???? Fantastic editing!
This truly is a thirty something sci fi stuff!
I legitimately hoped they'd do the TNG intro for "The Last Generation." Use Patrick's old recording, don't upscale the original video to HD, just straight up drop it at the beginning and don't acknowledge it, just go on with the show.
Well that was pretty awesome. Thanks for this
Damn that was outstanding
Awesome clip, they should have used this for the final episode lol.
Exellent!!
That should have been the opening for the finale episode of PIC
Pretty damn kewl
Love it! You could also use another clip from Picard where the D is flying at warp to Jupiter but compare the European vs. US version of that episode. The cut scenes are different so that gives you one more cool clip to recycle 😀
This was a great intro 👏
Awesome work
And history intends to remember the name Enterprise.
Perfect!
1 YEAR LATE SQUAD WHERE YOU AT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Almost perfect what happened to Young Prime Picards voice and speech
FUN FACT
NOT 1 GALAXY CLASS
was lost in the
DOMINION WAR
What happened to the Syracuse, though?
RIP USS Odyssey
The very first Federation casualty of the Dominion.
(Technically before the start of the war. Technically. Also arguably the earliest inciting incident of the war.)

One thing I just noticed is that only the impulse drive on the stardrive section was active; the ones on the saucer section weren't being used as seen in later appearances of the Galaxy-class post-TNG.
The impulse engines on the saucer section were only ever active when the ship was separated - as shown on TNG. I think the CGI appearances of the Enterprise-D, and other galaxy class ships since showed the saucer engines lit on a couple of occasions. I think it was probably an oversight by the CGI artists.
You got it backward. The impulse engines on saucer were mean to be off line in all TNG era. Its due to their experience taken from ambassador class to the galaxy class cause incompatibility which resulted in power's coupling problem. Nevertheless they already have ongoing R&D to solve the problem for the matter. (Galaxy class Technical Manual)
Those three impulses brought online after propulsion upgrade somewhere after the last 2nd batch galaxy class production's completed to the 2373.
After that, all Galaxy class have all three impulse engines go online, as seen in DS9 and Voyager episode, USS Venture & USS Galaxy.
However some ship of the 1st & 2nd batch remain offline due to they didn't yet receive those upgrade schedule before their destruction, notibly USS Enterprise D & USS Oddysey.
this is mirror universe ST where it's just all about war
Right, because wars never happened in TOS, TNG, DS9... /s
What annoys me if they did the normal ST Warp Effect... Why do they keep doing Hyperspace in NuTrek then... DO IT PROPERLY!
Different generation of warp drive.
@@filthycasual8187 Different generation of a braincell too...
@@Sovereign-kh4ng How do you figure? Do you think younger generations are somehow less intelligent than older ones? Because they both seem plenty stupid to me.
