I've been saying for a year or so that you're the best base designer in Rust, and you somehow continue to impress with every design. This is just insane levels of engineering, even by your own standards.
These small compounds have helped us defend 2 onlines. Me and my trio have been using the dugout for quite a few wipes now and you can’t really go wrong with it. We convert it into a 2x2 version for more space. Definitely gonna have our 200 hour guy build this one so I can take a break. Thank you Dust!

Amazing base, I decided to make the gatehouses out of external tc's aswell just to cut some costs on the upkeep of the main tc which does help a bit. For the rest the base is identical and it is amazing!
had a crazy and fun online out of this one, the raiders also came over and talked to my team and I about how crazy all the peaks are for defending. Thanks for the design man

Awasome base Dust from Rust. But heres some info for the console players: the stair bunker does not work, every other one does though but for the bunker in the core you can just put the tc behind a vending machine for 8 extra rockets so in total you can do 5 of the 6 bunkers.

With the Triangle on the end of the external tc, how do you break the link to main base? because it can only be done with a square?

My only qualm with your builds recently it’s all 1 wall to main loot rooms and that’s a huge weakness

Finally! Been waiting for a new vid. Amazing design as usual. Are the turrets at 27:16 easier to kill with them being on shelves?
Shelves are surprisingly durable. If you don't want it on there you can always put it on the ground in front of the bed, but it's annoying to jump over.

just built this base as a duo, easy too build, and has more than enough space and storage for us. what we did is in bedroom we put a locker in the middle of the beds. I have just logged of sooo, well see tmrw how it holds up

Just finished the base on console, you can do every bunker except the 2 stair bunkers :(. All the other work just like in the video, the two roof bunkers you have to move around until the triangle frame is touching the roof of the bunker, if it doesn’t then switch the triangle roof that opens the bunker around and it will work.
I like to "grub test" these bases by building it and then trying my best to be annoying at possible whilst you dont have turrets placed.
This by far has been a base thats been super defendable against grubs trying to ruin your wipe.

This might be a silly question but, what's the advantage of building the free hand external TC over a traditional one? I'm new to rust and am just learning about external TCs in general. Thanks for the guide!!!
Does the stair bunker and roof bunker work on console?? A lot of the bunkers have getting patched or at least aren’t working for me anymore.

Yeah this is why I wont build this. Basically relying on funnel cheese to prevent direct loot access. Needed an outside honeycomb or something

one question , what if the hexagon i built after the 7 squares is broken and now i had built the external and cant fit the hexagon properly??
