New SUB! Thanks for vid! You took care of all the guesswork and showed us how easy it is. The step by step helps a lot! Before I buy more RCs, I need to get a little organized. 😂 Thanks again!!
Hey checked out your video yesterday chopped up the wood today at the shop l work at and installed it. Works great for my outcast V2 and my teckno rc mt410. Right above my work bench. Thanks for the tip.
I had ask in a comment in your other video to share how you build this car holder...thank you so much this one by far better and easier than all the rest that I have seen 👍
@ XXLRC an OK video a bit long .... [insert dirty joke or comment from "The Office" here] .... great to see it held all the X-Maxx sized cars. I'm going to do this for my cars later this week I think. So thanks again for the execution of a popular idea! When I said it was a bit long I think I mean the "pace" was a tad slow so it felt long. Not trying to be critical or nasty it's just my thoughts. If you watch any of Kevin Talbot's videos you can see how his presentation style has changed from when he first started. This video reminded me slightly of his earlier videos. But again thanks for sharing man!
Thanks for the feedback. Glad this video helped. I’m still kinda new at this UA-cam thing, but I’m getting better at editing, I think. I didn’t want to just throw the wood at the wall and yell BOOM and it’s all done like Kev does. I actually wanted to show how it’s done since it is a how to video.
@@XXLRC HI please don't take my comment as a negative. The length of the video is not really an issue. I had not realised you had only been at it for a few months. I will definitely be checking out your other videos! Kevin has been at it for a lot longer and he has developed his "pace" over the years - I only know that as I saw a very old video from him the other day and the difference was very striking. Not sure if you have kids - you don't notice their changes from day to day really but when you meet up with family and friends the comment on how they have changed so much. UA-camrs (well anyone doing anything that they want to be successful at) absolutely need to develop their skills as they go and I am sure you are already making progress. I am not really in a position to comment as I only have 3 or 4 videos on UA-cam and none are public (although 'Luigi Gets Made' is a stop-gap animation masterpiece even if I do say so myself! A slight over exaggeration! Although the SEND kids I was teaching at the time liked it). If you ever want to chat about my thoughts please feel free to look me up, I will drop you an email if you want. I am truly looking forward to watching your other videos soon. I really should do some work today though. LOL! :)
No offense taken at all. I really appreciate the feedback. I actually was looking at some of Kevin’s old videos recently as well. Trying to look back at very successful channels and see where they started. You’re right. He has changed drastically from back then to now.
The 4x4s are 15” long and I put them 10” apart. Perfect for the X-MAXX. I’ve made them 12” long before, but decided to make them longer this time so I could put the transmitter in front of each truck.
Finally can have some encouragement to make a shelf
Awesome! Glad the video helped you out!

How long are those 4x4s cut to? And how much space between? Sorry if you said it I must have missed that part and am at work!
