So for competitive gaming if i'd go a TN panel with 244 hertz en 1 ms response time or a VA with also 244 Hertz and 1ms response time there is no difference in ghosting right and the VA would have the better display. Is that correct?
Not an advanced gamer by any means but I’m at a point where tn might be the move. Been getting into rhythm games for the last 3 years and I’ve had issues on my ips monitors having ghosting with one being on the extreme side. Legit seeing double notes making difficult to read and differentiate patterns. My brother has a tn panel and he doesn’t have this issue it’s all smooth sailing. What makes this difficult is that I was hoping to upgrade to 1440p but since tn panel isn’t popular there’s little to no tn panels that have 1440p. And there are none that have more then 144hz.
I don’t want to buy another ips monitor only to have the same issue so I’ve been hunting the internet to see peoples reviews and opinions but no one can give me a solid answer.
I would probably go for VA then. Its a really solid mid option between tn and ips I would say. Also loads of 1440p va options

TN aoc... 1ms and zero ghosting... pure for gaming.
IPS or VA. Stay far away from TN.

@@digizoneworldi got TN panel AGON 240hz the response time was so good but i returned back and got the asus tuf gaming 165 hz ips 1440p monitor cuz the color on TN was so yellowish and not good in games ips have vivid crystal clear colors and sharpness

@@chessysplash139it’ll get better with time. Hopefully oled becomes mainstream in the next 2 years with more advancements. Oled has compatible response times to tn while also having bright colors.
Oled is still too expensive to enter the comparison, but I am so ready to try one out
