if anyone is having trouble with the beads bunching up, i recommend using a thin craft wire!! i made a worm with seed beads and wire and it's completely flat :)

Tysm for making this! I just made a rainbow worm this was really easy to follow! Also I made your tie yesterday and I love it it’s not as long but it still looks decent! I’d recommend using those little hook thingys for it though as it’s easier than tying a knot every time but that’s just personal preference lol.
I didn't have black so I used baby blue for the eyes :) And I didn't use the whites ones I just used the baze color instead. So the base is yellow with blue eyes. I think it looks really cute :)

im a little confused? the two beads you put on the same string after the first three beeds wont go sideways and will only go the same direction as the other ones, idk what im doing wrong

Yes! A slippery string (like clear elastic) might come loose during the making. I also like to use thin paracord or round ribbon for these sometimes . Whatever you have :D
My worm kept bending and looking horrible. What am I doing wrong? I'm so lost as to why my stuff always bends no matter how loose or tight it is and I've tried with different types of string and stuff. Nothing seems to work for me
Can anybody suggest a brand of pony beads? I use pop! And a pre-packaged container made by the beadery. I get my stuff from Jo-ann's, the pop! beads are kind of on the lower quality and have rough edges sometimes,,
Here's some other places you can try online! Jollystore Crafts, Plastic Beads USA, and Kandibeads.com. I think their beads are all a little smoother than that brand.

I improvised a lot with my worm- I didn’t had black beads so I took for black dark blue. Also my worm can glow >:D

How do you keep them flat the entire time?? I can never get it to stay fully flat, rows keep bumping up
If the rows are bumping up you need less tightness in the stitching. Ladder stitch is tricky to get the right tension!

I am not sure! Usually if it is curling up that means the stitches are too tight. But I think a curly worm on a string would actually look good!

For mine I didn’t like having the white beads it just didn’t look like eyes to me so I just used the black beads as eyes and the rest of the color
