- Feadship launched Mark Zuckerberg's Launchpad (ex Project 1010) at their shipyard today.
The preparations for the launch of Feadship's largest yacht to date started already yesterday as the draft of the yacht was to much to pass Lake IJsselmeer for her fitting out destination in Amsterdam. Once the 118m/ 387'2" yacht got an extra lift of 1 meter/ 3ft via air pockets and the assisted sheerleg, the 118m/ 387’2” yacht left Makkum for Amsterdam today. Footage by The Nautical Lady & Dutch Yachting.

This elegance which is reflected on the whole yacht - inside and outside .... Congratulations to all who have worked on it
Amazing yacht, congrats to everyone that worked on her. Congrats to the owners. Everyone has amazing taste! The video work on this video was amazing as well!!
That is a work of art. She is perfection. ♥️♥️♥️💯
Love to the Tugs! 💪
Beautiful ship. Really enjoyed the view on it when it arrived yesterday in Lelystad (Batavia Haven) and then the continuation today to Amsterdam. The view on it across the water with the Batavia nearby was impressive
Pictures?
Excellent close up drone footage of the aft deck. Beautiful wood carpenting ... tks.
wow what a gorgeous looking superyacht, congratulations to Feadship and the exterior Design team 👏
Wonderfully beautiful design, the lines flow perfectly.
Beautiful Yacht..!
Proud to see this excellent work on our Feadship shipyard in my home town Makkum..👍😊
Dutch built Feadship. Premium magnificent beautiful. Outstanding workmanship for decades.
As always, brilliant close-ups and great impressions... thanks!
Thank you 👍
This is the most beautiful yacht I have never seen in person..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯
AWESOME video ! Love how you are able to show the launch from hanger to open water . Round top of the mega yacht looks like the space ship from "Lost in Space" . Mark (Toronto)👍💙
Hi Mark, yes, the Sky lounge is quite futuristic
It's a hangar, not a closet item!
Lovely. Thank you from Manhattan
When only the best will do 🇳🇱 👌
Wow, what a beautiful ship! I've read posts about the owners being wasteful and careless to the environment by building this ship and those complaints are justified. On the flip side, there really is a trickle down effect to the companies and employees who build these ships and yachts. I'm a building contractor and we have similar clients who have large homes built as well. If it wasn't for them, we would have far less work, since during tough economic times, they are virtually recession proof due to their vast wealth. Props to the craftsmen and women who built this beauty! The owner can now enjoy paying the huge overhead required to maintain this beast😂
If maintenance costs weee an issue then one cannot really afford such a toy.
Nice vessel, nice footage, nice music. Video of the day!
Thank you!
Wat een apparaat zeg..top opname en vet muziekje erbij..bravo
Il doit y avoir une certaine fierté pour les concepteurs et ouvriers de voir achevé ce chantier. Il est superbe ! 😍
Nice footage, especially to close-ups👍🏻. Interesting the rear section lifting with crane help. How much is the yacht width? I‘m wondering that the yacht of netherlands has smaller width. Cheers DrDuu
She is still awesome.
🐬💙💙💙🐬
Fantastic camera work ,thank you .....Boat complete with small space ship
Thank you Albert. yes, it looks like a tiny spaceship. Funny, isn't it?
Congrats Zuck with this incredible beauty, looks really great, what a super design. Enjoy as much as you can with your family, all the luck of the world for you all🍀⛴
My God what a boat
Impressionante inacreditável 🇧🇷👀🙆🏿♂️🇧🇷💰
Mooi!!
I like it!
Design 1 yacht like this and you are set for life
Très joli navire et superbe vidéo, merci
Merci d'avoir regardé et Joyeux Noël
I'd hate to see SEA-TOW bill. ;-) To all who designed, built and outfitted her, job well done. That's a beauty, may the owner and family and friends enjoy her.
If you can own it, you would want to enjoy it.
The Sea-tow bill pales in comparison to the fuel bill.
Thank you for sharing!
Impressive Yachts building on Feadship, I m very happy with my previous experience there!
I looking forward for a new projects!
Prachtig schip! Zag haar voorbij komen over het ij in Amsterdam. Kan niet wachten op meer informatie over de specs.
Still ❤❤❤!!!
HOLY COW BATMAN!! ♥️♥️♥️💯
A beautiful exterior on the yacht. I'm _guessing_ seven staterooms and 24 crew.
Excellent video editing! On Twitter I noticed the name Katyusha? Dark blue hull color looks good. The round structure on top might be an observation lounge?
William, think it could be a space ship lol
Dark hulls look great (IMO) but they are a nightmare for the crew to keep clean looking, as is the vase for dark colored cars.
Pracht schip ,en mooie job om het naar dieper water te krijgen. Dat het maar genoeg ruimte onder de kiel en boeg mag houden tijdens zijn vaart.dikke duim.
Interesting on how they used the crane barge and floats to help raise it out of the water.
I was wondering what that contraption controlled ! 😬
The red and white stripe above the waterline is ultra sleek
Nice editing too!
thank you
I'll take two please, what other colours does it come in?
Wonder why the straps were holding the aft part of the vessel up?
What's with the craddle/straps rig at the aft of the yacht?
The water is too shallow, and it had to be lifted up to move it to deeper water.
@@truthseeker2321 thanks for clarifying that. I had assumed it's something to do with the yacht's draft & water depth but wasn't too sure. What was baffling me was why the aft end required that rig where the keel usually slopes upwards towards the transom. Would I be correct in thinking the current engine room weight would make it sit deeper aft until they've completed fitting everything?
@@taridean You're welcome! In the description, it also says that airpockets were also used, likely under the hull towards the front.
@@taridean Also, that boat will likely have to anchor outside a port and use tenders to dock inside.
@@dieseldog00 This vessel will have no problem docking at any major port as it is not nearly the longest of biggest motor yacht in the world. Check out videos for MY’s Azzam (the longest at 180 meters) and Dilbar (the largest (15,917 gross tonnes). FYI - gross tonnage to yachts is what square footage is to homes.
Nice little boat
Is yours bigger?
Nice vessel. Would have loved to know who the designer was. Maybe you inquire at Feadship and put the info in the video next time.
The "perfect storm" would sink that faster than the Titanic!
Is it broken before it even leaves the dock, a crane has to lift the stern???
I see why Feadship needed that much hangar length to build it. Good grief what a monster!!! I remember when Feadship was building 100 footers now they're almost to 400'!! I wonder why they had to raise the stern?? Was the draft too deep for that canal? Hoping for a walkthrough soon!!
Impressive, bit not nearly as large as some of the monster vessels that Lürssen has built, with MY Azzam being the longest at 180 meters.
Who's the lucky owner?
Why does the ship needs to be lifted from the back? haven't seen that before (that doesn't mean lot to be honest)
It's shallow water at the moment in the big lake .. IJsselmeer. Summer Time and not many rainwater from the big rivers....so it needs lifting from my home town Makkum.. Feadship.. to Amsterdam..locks there..
@@gewema-makkum sounds logical, thanks
Big deal. You seen one Feadship you’ve seen them all. J/K. This vessel is stunning.
Wow. What’s her name? She’s beautiful
The craftsmanship of the people that work for Feadship is outstanding, but for the new owner? I am proud of a man who builds his own boat and loves to sail it.
Boy! Face Book must be worth a bundle.
great film but the music, ahhhhhhhhhh.
Enjoying the Thriller vibe
I thought Zuckerberg was all concerned with "cliiiiimate change" .. apparently not so much.
Bel video mi sembra di aver letto che è lo yacht del ex proprietario di Barbara di Oceanco saluti
Would be nice if that thing would float ! Looks funny running it world wide with that crane attached. 🤣
That's the super yacht's support vessel, it's where it will house extra tenders, spare helicopter, tennis court and Rolls Royce and Ferrari's. /S 😉
Nope, that's a crane
Would you have 2 of these? I need 2.
The most expensive product ever produced bei LVMH Group, yes, Feadship is part of Bernard Arnault's luxury empire. 🙂
No helipad?
That's about the biggest yacht I've ever seen. Anyone know who that belongs to? There are few people in the world who can afford to not only build, but own and maintain a yacht like that.
FYI - It is nit nearly the lingest yacht in the world. MY Azzam, built by Lürrsen is almost 70 meters linger at 180 meters. I recommend searching for Azzam on YT.
He spends 1 week a year on his cruise ship
Finished watching 6:19
Why the need of the crane ?
Shallow canal.
The design is alright. I’m sure there are plenty of amazing features we couldn’t see from this video but am I the only one who doesn’t like the profile. The front half is good
Pretty standard. The aft portion is unique and intriguing. The middle
Loses me with those weird waves. What is that dark nest thing on the top? Looks like a man bun up there. Is this a radical new skylounge designed perhaps?
Why is it being supported by a crane?
It's mine... Fraser

il est effectivement magnifique.. et il consomme au minimum 500 litres de l'heure !!!
He sold a $30 million dollar house for a $300 million dollar yacht. Make that make sense
This use to be Amels in Makkum. Donald Trump had his ship build here in 1988 for about $ 50,000,000.- back then.
We did the Electrical Engineering on board of the Amels boats....long time ago 😄👍
Greetings Gerben van der Weerd Makkum..
Did he pay Amels or did he rip them off like he does everybody stupid enough to deal with him??
Bring her home,im taking her around the world, fill it with toys..
I have been a shipwigth for 48 years , I never understood how a 0.001% portion of our population can pollute a million time more the air we all breath equally and get away with it and we the little people cannot drive our car because is not up to new regulations concerning pollution .
I don't quite understand what you mean I guess. As far as I am concerned everyone can drive a car as long as they are able to pay for it. Same goes for the 'big guys', they can drive their boats as long as they pay for it (this includes huge ammounts of taxes as well), and trust me, yacht owners contribute a lot more in taxes than the 'little people' do
Quiet, prole!
@@pimdoeswijk truee
Wonder why people like Pim can't see the obvious harm running a ship of these proportion does...rich people don't make poor people rich ...the trickle down effect is just that as they accrue vast fortunes far in excess of any need or reasonable want.
You're calculations are incorrect. Besides, do you have any idea how much contribution such an owner brings by paying taxes, creating jobs, etc?
Wh would they need the crane? Hmm
A coastguard ship!? Limited 2 a few areas. A big pain in butt 2 move around ,and park. Why not buy a ship.?!?!
Takes SO LONG to get her out!
....it ain't much...if it ain't Dutch......
I rather have buffets row boat next 2 the shore because I hate the ocean !! (sharks , hurricanes, pirates,! And 2 impress is not important.)
thats a whopper
The WEF tells me that I will own nothing and be happy. The government tells me I have to reduce my carbon footprint, give up fossil fuels and stop driving my ICE car. Excuse me while I laugh in their faces.
Totally agree👍
@@DutchYachting Just to clarify my position, I am not throwing shade against Mark Zuckerburg and the yacht is a masterpiece and a work of art...!!
Amazong
Obscene. The poor get poorer while the rich get richer.
Another expensive toy for people who only know excess..? And worse...more fossil fueled engines? Or are they electric or hydrogen powered?
to be building such big fuel guzzling good-for-nothing toy boats in this day and age?! just embarrassing ...
