I’m thinking if I start saving now and if I’m smart with my budgeting, by the time I’m 97, I’ll be able to afford a tour on that boat.
And here we can view the boats dock, this concludes the tour, please hand over your bank cards
Three years to build, Thousands upon thousands of man/women hours, super quality materials, you can now see why these things cost millions.
You say millions, Id bet that tower alone was a million. This ship has to be closer to a billion. Nearly 300'. Insanity!
Nah, this is probably somewhere in the $50-150 million range. I think even the biggest yachts, which are over twice as long as this, "only" get to $600-800 million.
The EXACT value is $125,347,824 USD....
The $6 Mil price tag I got was for another smaller yatch with a similar name
$6.5 million for a brand new 87m yacht? No lol. Not sure where you're getting those numbers, but they're waaaay off.
Canal shots explains why dutch boats are narrower than others :)
Some yards in Holland have direct access to the North Sea, so no limitations in design or GT
The best superyacht related video I have seen!! As an engineer, I am fascinated with the design and construction of these ships. I could have watched more!!! Well done, and thank you!!
The engineering is great to see, it's only spoiled by the fact some rich asshole is going to wallow around in it 😄 and they are only rich because of the people under them who do all the hard work 😭 yes I'm jealous 😕
orangelion03. Your comment was quoted in the DailyMail article. www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-6109473/Incredible-time-lapse-video-shows-three-year-build-Feadship-superyacht-just-FIVE-MINUTES.html
Those canal shots, with the bridges lifting, tilting or lifting to allow the ship to pass was amazing!!!
FEADSHIP: doesn’t get any better than FEADSHIP.
0.0 This was over 3 Years.... HOLY Crap,
ua-cam.com/video/kTh1mL-DlfU/v-deo.html look at that ship when he pass a bridge!
Fantastically entertaining: you'll want a Feadship megayacht even more after watching this fascinating time-lapse video. Richard Hallberg interior... Masterful.
ua-cam.com/video/kTh1mL-DlfU/v-deo.html look at this ship when he pass a bridge. Shot on a drone!
Incredible the amount of work that goes into making these yachts. Watching them come together in sections sort of looks like a giant 3d printing machine.
The video was way cooler than I thought it would be.
this ship is gorgeous. This timelapse is incredibly made amazing! Love it!
Those bridges are gorgeous! Those canals are magnificent! That ship is beautiful!
Over one million views for this amazing video... very proud to be able to share this with the world!
Back in my days as a super yacht capt. I always enjoyed a visit to the Feadship yard! They do amazing work
Such elegant and majestic engineering with a romantic and rhythm all contained in its lines . Congratulations to the designers and all those who took part in passing in through those narrow canals and under those well engineered bridges. What would civilization do without the guaranteed products of engineers to better the tangible comforts in every home and all the services outside our homes. Well done all , it is all engineer with art and music all combined in a beautiful hull. Lucky owner and all those who sail in it Enjoy it all,
It is amazing that all these parts are made from scratch in one off productions and when put together, fit so perfectly. Damn fine engineering.
Not just beautiful shots of the ship, but amazing scenery of the western Netherlands
The engineering on this is amazing. How fast it moves without making a wake is awesome.
shout-out to everyone who worked hard on my boat.
Are you sure? I am friends with the owner and his name is not David T, he will be accepting delivery of it later this year.
fuck off the both of you, i'm the account manager for Feadship and NEITHER of you are in my customer database! get off the internet and go get a job - LOSERS!!!!!!
august henry gildner I have a job, it entails smashing ur moms box. Ur not an account manager because walmart called asking why u werent at work cleaning the toilets today. Sick profile pic, clown.
Would hope not, would never want to see someone associated with Feadship to act so abrupt and rude to anyone, me having a friendship with someone having purchased something from them wouldn't result in me being in a database at all? Don't know where you got that from haha. Maybe instead of pretending for working for Feadship you can get an actual job yourself.
Who else feels poor
@@kaidynisbeast1987 same dude i mean my brother is playing with it right now in my pool the thing is somehow i cant get in to the yacth
@@kreacher8910 That may seem a lot of money, but a lot of people make a very good living building these ships too. The people who build these are talented and hard working to produce ships this beautiful and earn every penny. It is a good thing there are those with enough money to have a ship built. Keeps a lot of people employed and support themselves and families.
I’ll be honest.... I was way more blown away from that entire trip the yatch took to go get painted, and getting through all those obstacles...than the whole build of it. Simply amazing. Ridiculous amounts of work to not ruin the boat
Wow, I was equally impressed with the infrastructure along the way. Amazing.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Now I see why there are so many mega super yachts on the waters today across the globe ! For the video showed this magnificent beautiful vessel being built in what's looks like only three to four days working non stop. Amazing the man power associated with the beast.
This yacht design has to be the loveliest I've truly have ever seen.
From start to finish in only days. That's remarkable.
The commitment and dedication to capture this is nearly overwhelming. Super impressed over here.
That was an extraordinarily well done time-lapse, truly.
Great track too, from Bassnectar.
This vid makes me appreciate boat building and the netherlands even more. Proud to live in this country
After the amazing timelapse of the build of the 87m Feadship Lonian, we can now show you how she was transported to sea. During two exciting days she encounters more than fifteen bridges, and some are really challenging. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/0W5j_ExtyBY/v-deo.html
Feadship WOW !!!!!! Is that all it take - 5 minutes to build a super yacht !!!
Only joking - seriously how long did it take from start to completion ? Man hours / cost ?
Great video by the way:)

Great! I love the building time lapse and was imaging the whole time that it will be built for me... 😊
I'm glad so many of you enjoyed the timelapse of how my boat was built from start to finish! (:
Well built. Well edited. Great tune..
Must be a great feeling knowing you had a hand in building this.
Want to know more about these superyachts? Check out our vlog series called Inside Feadship. Here we show you how we build superyachts at Feadship. From the first sketch to its launch three years later. bit.ly/2xcAnDB
Michael Cardona
It’s a lot’s of engineering designing colocations to refitting and fabrications to make everything fits at once, Weldons and than painting (it’s seams they had to ship it to another location to do the final painting, and remember this video didn’t sow us the problems, I’m sure you know NO job with No problems..
Also this kind a business Not that easy to find a professional labor 😃
Feadship if the same yacht was built in the U.K. it would have taken thirty years due to unions and a lazy workforce which is what decimated our ship building industry
Bassboat! Good choice in song ;D
Amazing engineering and craftsmanship. Salute to Dutch shipping industry.
Pretty cool stuff, thanks for your time and effort putting all this together for us to enjoy!
New footage of the 93m Lady S as she makes her way out to sea. During 3.5 exciting days she encounters seventeen bridges, locks and aqueducts. And as you can see, some are really challenging with just centimetres to spare! ua-cam.com/video/UseA5XyTOME/v-deo.html
Love the video & the song choice. Happens to be a favorite Track of mine 😜
ONE WORD NEEDED------ AWESOME !!!!!
Salute to editor and camera work. Great & mega creation by humans.
Scott, people who work hard for their money don't need to give it to people who don't. They do give money to people who want to work for them and it took a lot of people to build this boat.
Clyde Dooseldorph it probably took 100s of thousands of people to build and pay for this yacht
@@roadrunner4490 No. Hundreds of thousands? The final price of the yacht after completion is at least double the cost to make it. Meaning the production was profitable and paid for by 1 person or a company CEO or something with company funds. It probably took 200 people maybe (high estimate) to source and asseble the pieces required. Maybe 5 interior designers. Some electricians and plumbers to help plan out where pipes and wires should go.
All in all. Probably about 300 people maximum actually assisted in the building of the boat.
@@roadrunner4490 aircraft carriers take around 150k people if you include EVERYBODY who worked on a single piece of it.
ua-cam.com/video/kTh1mL-DlfU/v-deo.html look at this ship when he pass a bridge. Shot on a drone!
ForgedHorizons go to a dry dock that works on freighters and count the cars in the parking lot. Then realize that about 35% of the peripherals are out sourced and you might be enlightend to the number of humans required to build a ship any ship
I love how the boat has to go on a boat to become a boat
I’ve always been somewhat curious how these massive ships are made. Great video, thanks!
Cool production. Thanks for sticking with it long term.
Best Video i have Seen
in awe of the size of this lad. absolute unit.
It does my heart good to know toys like this exist on earth!
No wonder they get the contracts to build these yachts they work very fast
My father (roland van ijzendoorn) has worked on the ocean victory in de vries makkum
The second boat for this called hodor is such a cool thing to see, stoked my dad still works in the boating industry, love going with him at times to see what projects he’s got in store and what boat he is working on next.
Feadship is a world leader in the Mega-Yachts.....and you can see why with time lapse video of her construction!
That was a great video... love the music
Пфф... Делов то на 5мин! Можно 12 таких сделать за час))*
staggering the amount of time and effort to put this all together. what fun. I want one!!!
Man oh man ... The 1% life is fantastic. Epic episode guys. Very inspirational.
me : looks at my wallet
my wallet: CONFUSED SCREAMİNG
this has to be holland right ? no other country in the world has such an amazing inland waterways system.
This was in my hometown. Ive seen this boat in real life. This was in 'Aalsmeer'
The Dutch must feel proud to have a company that makes a product with such a high level of quality ... greetings from Uruguay!
Wow I never actually thought about how much time go into making this! This is crazy!
What a great video- the work, effort abs especially time gone into make this video is unreal, let alone the boat .. 👏
"I´m going sleep"
4 am : Watching this video
=_=
2:15 if that was how fast your boat was
Imagine taking delivery of this. Crazy.
On a side note, in a different life I wouldn't mind working on a build like this. Great stuff!
It's about time, I've been waiting for so long.
Dear Santa, my best friend.
One of the best video ever seen!
WOWWWWWW
Nice. I anchored with this ship in the Bahamas last season. I really enjoyed the open wifi signal. Thank you..
In the old days the super wealthy & powerful built massive real estate, and financed art.
Things like the Great Stables at Chantily, or Versaillies, or the palaces in Venice.. etc etc
And hundreds or even thousands year later, those pieces are still impressive, still relevant, and have become public domain or heritage.
Now the super wealthy build boats.
Do you think any of these boats will still be around in say 200 years?
And in the off chance some might be.. Will they still be impressive, or relevant, never mind heritage?
I think not.
Much like those historic buildings (not so much the art), the complex engineering behind designing and floating something like this boat is at least something to admire. Will it be remembered in 200 years? Probably not, but neither will the historic art in 100 million years. Time is a bit of an asshole unfortunately...
We don't need this boat to stick around, and if Versailles wasn't around anymore it would really not matter either. Everything is temporary. And meaningless.
Well pretty much all the rich people of old built Yachts to so your point is kind of meaningless d******!
Deserves 1 Billion Views + Likes... Ship is DOPE!
Probably the best video on youtube, really amazing.
may I have it?
Very very very beautiful videography..... hats off to the videographer 👍🏻
This is amazing. I guess I didnt realize how long it took and how much effort to build these
Go ahead and make me two of them. I'll pick them up next week. Thanks. Oh yeah, I have a buy one get one free coupon from the Mint magazine.
@@KY3MA_CAMAPA да ..не ..потянет легко причем ..бабло сечиных. Вротенбергов. Усмановых хуяновых куда то же надо будет девать...а его столько ..что и на содержание яхт - садов хватит
Beautiful montage of the build process: well done
Very much thanks...many things here to learn
Never knew they could build it that fast!
Amazing Yacht, much love
Too big for a yacht? too small for a cruise ship? What is this... Heaven?
And $250 Million dollars later...Shazam! Nothin’ to it.
Finally done!!! Now just park it in my driveway and I will check it out once Iam done here at Walmart!
What I find truly amazing is that so many people can afford these.
I want to build ships
I’d be happy with a 16 ft fishing boat 😂
What a great piece of art, great ,great job !!!!!!
I'm more interested in how all those bridges move. That was pretty awesome!
Put it on 2x speed.
my grandfather had a 58' Feadship custom built.. I met Lionel Beakbane at Bahia Mar in Ft. Lauderdale when they delivered his Yacht around 1970.. it was pretty cool... Seafordll
Impressive. Great timelapse!

The building of these monstrosities is SUCH a WASTE of human resources and time and SUCH a BURDEN on our already polluted planet. The source of all this idiocy is some rich bastard that has nothing better to do than flaunt his/her wealth. These are the losers of our world.
How long did it take you to build I reckon about month 8 months
Joanne Baker 5 years ish
