I have the burgundy/ivory E95S in EF (my first gold nib so far). It is a great pen but bit toothy for me as a daily pen. I was considering buying the black E95S in F but I like the M nib in the video. Oh, decisions! Thank you for the review!
My first gold nib also. I use a syringe to fill all my con40 converters. Elite is the Japanese version. I also find I have to pull the converter to see how much is in there and then reinsert. That is not messy doing if you need to know for certain. The CH92 is a steal on Amazon $112. I found my E95s EF the same thickness as my Fine CH92. I do like the inlayed nib look which cannot be removed so avoid shimmer and inks like that. Its a pocket pen that transforms to full size. Reverse writes well. Pilot and Platinum steel nibs are amazing. Watch the pricing on the C742 and CH912 Those are the best value on pilot gold nibs IMO and lots of nib options. Platinum Century 3776 UEF is great deal on Amazon its a bit noisy. FYI a dryer ink will give that pen a finer line.
It’s my first gold nib too, purchased a couple of months ago. It’s an amazing pen, I love the bouncy nib. I purchased it in fine which I repent a bit, but no big deal, it’s amazing nonetheless.
Nice review

I got one in EF but I’m retrospect I would’ve bought a fine nib. I think the EF needs good quality paper to shine.
I have the EF and I agree.
