The hooded version is really pretty much the same! All you do is sew the face of the hood together first ☺️

I agree; the directions are so confusing if you are trying to do a hood instead of collar! It is NOT the same.

What the hey is water tape?

Wonder tape. It's a tape which is sticky on both sides, helps to "glue" two pieces of fabric or zipper and fabric together temporarily. Handy to have if you don't want to baste your project by hand.
