I really like this style of shirt but I was getting puckering around the armpit. For a knit, I'm able to just clip the seam and smooth it out but how would you fix it for a fabric that frays? Is my curve that I'm sewing too steep? Any other ideas?

I'd love to see a tutorial for the Lowland Hoodie!! Especially the binding is tricky on this one and the instructions really DO NOT break down the steps sufficiently!! This is all what the patterns 'says' **Attach your binding along the edge of the line you cut and around the hood. You’ll want to make sure that on the inside your binding lines up as close as possible to the edge of the V.**

I just made these shorts and realized her directions and my repeating them are incorrect. Fold down elastic should be sewn to the INSIDE (wrong side) so the shorts should be RIGHT SIDE OUT when the elastic is attached to the INSIDE and then flipped down and finished ❤

Why a straight stitch? Isn’t it gonna rip when the fabric stretches?

Once you sewed the elastic on, did you flip the shorts right side out? I got so lost and now have no idea what to do or how to finish the top...im using a cover stitch to finish

Hello; I have never purchased binding or tried to use it but my daughter in law really wants me to make these shorts for my grandson. What is the binding called for when I go and buy it. I looked online and there's knit binding, knitted bias binding, double fold bias tape, etc. I'm so confused now. Can you help? I'm in Canada if that matters
