I haven't seen a tutorial, but back in middle or high school, my friend had fabric book covers but they had some sort of elastic in them to make them "universal". Good luck!

Yes! That was my vision but with quilting cotton. I’m wondering if I used a knit fabric if that would work like the school book ones??

@@samanthatansley A Google search found The Tiptoe Fairy has a diy stretchy book cover blog post. She used 4-way stretchy material.

You have so much patience to keep trying. But I bet you don't like to give or or let the project defeat you. Since all books are different, I bet there are lots of folks who would like a "universal" cover. Now you can add that to your "future project list" to develop.

I was very upset about it not working. Especially because I reviewed the instructions and followed carefully many times. They were for a gift that needed to be mailed out for a friend. Mailed it with 2 days arrival buffer. Then package got delayed. Friend didn’t get it until 1 week after her birthday. So I could have made multiple more attempts!
